"West View Cabins" on Ostego Lake - Cabin #3 - Waterfront and on Trail 7

Welcome to "West View Cabins". We offer four (4) cabins tucked together on Otsego Lake, directly on Trail 7.

Meet Cabin 3 - your cozy little hideaway for a northern Michigan adventure. This two‑bedroom, one‑bath charmer comes with a stand‑up shower and an open, easygoing kitchen‑and‑living‑area combo perfect for cooking, lounging, or plotting your next day of fun. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a full bed. The cabin has a view of the woods but the common area overlooks the lake.

Stay connected with Wi-Fi and relax with essentials like air conditioning, individual grill, and picnic table. Just bring beach towels!

Resort community amenities include your own boat slip at the dock, trailer parking, two large firepits overlooking the lake, kayaks, bikes, lawn games, grassy commons area, shallow sandy bottom swimming area, floats and water games, and picnic tables.

*Note: Docks are available approximately Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, weather permitting.

**There are 25 wood steps with a handrail down to the waterfront.

***Always Improving: To ensure the highest quality stay for our guests, we are currently in the process of refreshing our interiors. While the layout and amenities remain as described, some furniture and decor items may differ from the listing photos due to these recent upgrades.

****Pets: One dog under 50# per cabin, with a $50/night pet fee. Please check the box when making the reservation that says, "Traveling with pets" and then message us with the color/description of your furry friend. You must declare your pet prior to arrival for insurance and liability requirements.

*****As required by Vrbo policy, this is a camera location disclosure. There are three (3) exterior cameras onsite to monitor parking areas (one on the garage and two on Cabin 4 exterior).
The garage and storage room next to the garage are not included with the vacation rental and are not accessible to guests.

We had a wonderful time. Could use a cutting board, mirror in bath room and replace broken plastic outdoor chair. The bed was extremely comfortable and supplies were well stocked. We noticed the gas stovetop remained warm hours after the oven was turned off (problem?). We hope to stay with you out again.

As one of our first guests, thank you so much for the review and for choosing to stay with us! Based on your feedback, we're already replacing the outdoor chair, adding a cutting board, and adding a bathroom mirror to make the space even better. Regarding the gas stovetop—thank you for bringing that to our attention. Our oven vents directly beneath the cooktop, which causes that area to stay warm for a bit, but, we are still having a maintenance professional verify everything is 100% safe! Thanks again!

I'm excited to bring the same hospitality you loved at North View Cabins to my new property, West View Cabins! I've always cherished Northern Michigan, and I can't wait to share that passion with guests at this new location.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and peaceful lakefront living. The property sits right on the sandy shores of Otsego Lake, giving you easy access to swimming, boating, and Trail 7 is at the end of the driveway!

この宿泊施設の特徴

What sets this property apart is its rare combination of flexibility, privacy, and pure Up North charm. Instead of a single rental, guests have access to four quaint cottages, each with its own character. Whether someone is planning a quiet couples’ getaway, a family vacation, or a large group retreat, they can rent one cottage or all four, creating a setup that’s hard to find anywhere else.

The location is another standout feature. The cottages are nestled perfectly between Otsego Lake and the state forest, giving guests the best of both worlds—sandy shoreline on one side and peaceful wooded trails on the other. It’s the kind of place where you can sip your morning coffee by the water, spend the afternoon exploring the forest, and end the day around a lakeside fire.
