Nestled among tall pines, this home feels like a treehouse with views of Delaware Bay. Surrounded by nature and birdlife, it’s perfect for slowing down and unwinding.

2-minute walk to the beach. This natural shoreline—home to horseshoe crabs and bay life—is not for swimming. The shallow, brackish, tide-influenced water is ideal for wildlife watching. Bring bug spray and sunscreen.

Our time here was an attraction in itself. There were so many small details. I won't mention all of them as I don't want to spoil the surprise but one of our favorites was a telescope pointed towards an ocean piling where birds frequently perch. The house felt interactive and playful. There were snacks and beverage options (including tea, coffee, water, and even other surprises) available. Very clean. One consideration is the stairscase. I would advise caution for those with mobility issues (bad hips, knees, etc) as the steps are somewhat narrow and steep. Owner is kind and responsive, yet nonintrusive. Overall, it was a nice respite from a day of busy vacationing.

I enjoy farming, gardening, raising chickens for fresh eggs, going to farmers markets, and painting. I love hosting because it gives me the opportunity to share a space I’ve created where people feel truly welcome—a place to unwind, experience peace and healing, and feel fully immersed in nature. A place to be in awe of your surroundings and to fall back in love with the beauty around us when we take a moment to stop and truly see what’s been created for us. PEACE !
