Escape to South Lake Tahoe and stay in this cabin that offers beautiful mountain views. Perfect for year-round escapes, this home makes a great home base in Lake Tahoe and has plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and relax. You'll be set back from the road and just three-and-a-half miles from both Thomas F Regan Memorial City Beach and Heavenly Mountain Resort. This home gives you easy access to outdoor fun in both summer and winter.



Offering free WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private washer/dryer, you'll have all of the comforts of home. After an eventful outing, curl up by the gas fireplace and wind down by watching your favorite shows on TV. Take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen to prepare anything from a cup of coffee to a feast everyone will appreciate. For a change of pace, use the gas grill to put a sear on a fresh catch. After a filling meal, relax on the deck and watch the sun go down before retiring to bed for the night.

No information on operating the gas fireplace The setting in the woods with sunrise and sunset on trees and mountains was beautiful but one tip: glasses in the cupboard above fridge very hard for a short person to reach Windows and blinds needed cleaning

Cute Cabin

This was a very cute cabin. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect for my family of 4 and small dog. Location was good, close enough to town. We did have slight concerns with some of the cleanliness regarding animals. It was addressed with the property management and was taken care of right away. Overall, I would stay here again.

Cozy Cottage

Cozy cottage, generally very comfortable. Beware that there's no dishwasher, and that in order to keep things warm, you have to keep doors open as the only heat source is the fireplace in the living room. Otherwise, very comfortable!

Satisfactory stay

We enjoyed the location of this house; it’s near everything in town and the lake, but feels quiet and secluded. But the smart locks were finicky, the audio on the tv didn’t work, and I had a hard time sleeping comfortably bc the linens were so stiff and scratchy. All in all, it wasn’t an awful experience but I wouldn’t book again.

That said, we apologize for the issues you encountered that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. Our local manager visited the home and assured us that one of the two TV remotes has a broken volume button and this has been replaced. Additionally, we apologize for any inconvenience the eLock presented and while it can be slow to wake up the digital pad, it is working properly. We're also sorry that the linens were not to your liking and did not provide a comfortable night's rest. We appreciate your feedback as we view it as an opportunity to improve and we hope to better impress you on your next getaway.

We’ve stayed here before about five years ago and loved the cabin. It always seemed to feel like you were staying at a friends place instead of a rental. Now it’s a definite rental feel and not in a good way. TV has no volume control. The internet wifi is annoying; you have to log in several times a day. One of the screens is torn. The games and books are gone. The bathroom remodel is nice, I’ll grant you that

Lovely Stay!

We had a great 3-night stay! All the standard amenities were there that you would need besides coffee. Make sure you bring your own! The house was very clean. Water pressure was eh and the shampoo/conditioner/soap bottles were a little hard to dispense. Otherwise, we had no issues with the house or our stay. The gas fireplace worked great to heat the whole house pretty quickly! The neighborhood was quiet, clean, safe and close to the casinos, lake, and good food. A washer and dryer are on site with Tide pods, so that was convenient! We would absolutely stay again!

Birthday Weekend

The cabin was nice. Heated bathroom floor was really a bonus. The parking was questionable. No garage use? Can’t park on the street? Drive down the embankment to the house? Lack of patio furniture was a disappointment. Overall, it was good.

Super Cute Cabin

Cute little cabin with amazing veiws from wrap around deck. Was so quiet, only to hear coyotes howling at night and birds chirping in the morning. location felt remote but was still only a 10 min drive to the lake. Cabin was not fancy but had everything we needed and there was nice remodel on the bathroom. The rooms were quite small but beds were comfortable, worked for or small group. Only issue was the refrigerator that would either not run cold or if we turned down temp froze all our food in the fridge...that was a bummer but can be fixed. I would totally love to come stay again.

Very nice, cozy cabin. Open area with kitchen, table, living room. The cabin heater is the franklin stove. Gave off a nice warm glow. About ten minutes from Tahoe Village. Property mgt company Vacusa was a pain in the ass to deal with. All AI, you cannot talk to a real person. No early check in or late checkout. Don't bother asking. The AI Bot will say no, even if the cabin is vacant. I'll never rent anything from Vacusa again.

I love this out of the way cabin! If you are looking for something modern nd close to the action then this isnt the place for you. If you want a clean, comfortable, quiet, out of the way place that makes you feel like your miles from everyone then this is the place for you! My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for his birthday in June and loved it. We dont get to Tahoe offen the last time was 7 years ago and we stayed in a hotel. This time we wanted someplace where we could cook if we wanted to and just hang out without the hotel feel. I have never felt more relaxed. On our next trip to Tahoe we will definitely check to see if this place is available!

Warm, quaint and quiet

Standard old fashioned cabin. Coffee grinder is already there, for snobs like me who require freshly ground coffee - not pre-ground. Small so it warms up quick with the gas fireplace.

Lovely weekend!

We came to town for a wedding and booked a cabin instead of a hotel room so that we could bring the dog and really enjoy the weekend. This place was great! Down from the street so it really feels secluded. Wrap around porch is awesome. We grilled our on the porch and ate at the picnic table. No AC but fans kept us cool enough. It’s a rustic place but we loved it - definitely would stay again.

Woodsy and secluded

We loved staying at Cozy Seclusion. We were there for 7 nights over the 4th of July week. The crowds by the lake were too much for us so we were thankful to be away from all of that. The cabin is an open concept living area with the kitchen, dining and family room all in one generous space. There are 2 bedrooms very comfy bed) and one nice bathroom with a great shower, plenty of hot water and pressure. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked all of our meals there. The bbq on the deck was clean and ready for us to use also. We cooked steaks one night and hot dogs on the 4th. We took our little havanese dog with us and she enjoyed watching the Stellar Jays, woodpeckers, chipmunks and squirrels as much as we did. We used the wrap around deck to watch nature and read. Be aware that this area of South Lake Tahoe is wooded, with a creek and meadow nearby. You will see nature in action. We saw coyotes by the house even in the daytime so be careful with your pets. We had a black bear amble through the property at about 4pm one day also. Oh, the Roku tv and WiFi worked great for us too. We were thankful for bear proof trash cans and a secure garage for our car when we stayed in. We highly recommend Vacasa customer service and this property. Hope to stay here again.

A true cabin getaway!

We loved this place! Small 2 bedroom but so comfortable. The wrap-around deck is ideal for morning coffee and evening wine. It’s a great location too—close to restaurants, hiking, and the lake. This one is on my list for a return visit

1st Visit

Our family had a great vacation in Lake Tahoe! The cabin was clean, cozy, and peaceful. Vacasa provided a To Do list, and directions to the cabin. While there, the power went out. There was an issue in the area. Vacasa was very responsive. Ryan Smith delivered flashlights in the event the power was not on before dark. We will definitely use Vacasa again. Thank you for making our 1st visit to Lake Tahoe a memorable one!!
