The Space:

Let the refreshing mountain air fill your lungs while you enjoy spectacular views from the balcony of this amazing Grand Lodge Resort home. Inside, you'll find a bright and open living space featuring tasteful furnishings, beautiful floors, and a modern full kitchen. Use the stainless steel appliances and cookware to make some homemade comfort foods for your guests coming back from the cold mountain slopes. Take advantage of the basketball court and community fitness center to get in that morning exercise while listening to a downloaded music playlist (courtesy of the free WiFi). With a loft area and spacious living room, you can spread out and find your own space to relax and read a book or research nearby trails to explore the next day!





In the summer months, you can enjoy kayaking, waterfall tours, paddle boarding, fishing, canoeing, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing all at your fingertips when you visit Mt. Hood Outfitters. Check out Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl for their mountain biking, an alpine slide, zip lines, horseback riding, and mini-golf courses. In the winter, you can ski, snowboard, and sled when you head up to Mt. Hood Skibowl, Timberline Lodge, or Mt. Hood Meadows. Stop into one of the many restaurants, brewpubs, and boutiques in Government Camp also within walking distance.

This would be a 5 Star if the fireplace worked or even if it was fixed while we were there. We called about it when we first arrived and they said they’d call us when they were there to fix it. They didn’t call back until the night before we were leaving.

Great Location and Well Equipped Unit

Well located within walking distance to Government Camp. Entrance door was easily accessed, garage was a plus and the unit was sparkling clean and well equipped! Would look forward to staying again.

Great place and location

Could use a few more dishes so you not washing them all day, also more than 1 garbage bag and laundry pod would be helpful. Outside of those small enhancements the place and amenities are fantastic.

Ski weekend

The property was clean, comfy beds, and close to town. One toilet needs to be fixed, would not flush with handle, lighting is not great over table, makes playing games difficult. All of these are easy fixes and I would stay here again.

Ah ma zing!!

What a great accommodation, great location, great facilities. Heated parking at the same facilities, downstairs of the same building. LOVED everything about this place. Will definitely come back to this place. Thank you Vacasa customer service team for finding this place for us for our 2nd & 3rd night as our initial accommodation at another location in Government Camp which we have found via Vacasa was not accommodable.

The 1st room has a bed where you will will wake up with a hurt back it’s like sleeping in a hole and trying to stay up the please is great to have family trips but the Pool is a good walk and with little kids not so fun so I would say it is a great likes for ppl to go and get drunk and have a good time 18+ over

Great place but spartan

Full disclosure, the place itself was very clean, organized, and had plenty of space for a family of six. We loved the location and underground parking. However, this was easily the least stocked vacation rental we’ve ever used. Kitchen items were bare bones. The icemaker was broken and there was no coffee maker despite being listed. I messaged Vacasa regarding these issues upon arrival but never heard back. It wasn’t the end of the world as a local store sold drip coffee and bags of ice, but the coffee issue got old pretty fast. If I’d known ahead of time I would’ve just brought my own Keurig which would’ve been fine. At the end of the day, I would still rent again and go back. The place itself is great. I would just need be sure to pack all required kitchen items, including coffee maker.

Amazing

I have stayed at Collins Lake Resort over 10x. They continue to stay consistent with providing a clean beautiful place to stay on vacation. This particular unit was spotless, stocked with beyond basic kitchen supplies, and had plenty of space for a family of 4. If you visit in the winter please allow about 24 hours for the place to warm up. Suggest owners purchase smart thermostats so they can preheat the unit remotely before guests arrive. Only downside was communication from the host. I sent 2 messages to them and never received a response. First message was about adding a friend for my kids and how much additional would it cost me. No one responded. Second message, we had a door looked from the inside and needed someone with a key to open it. I had to contact Vacasa to attempt to get assistance but that even took about 8 hrs for someone to actually be able help with resolving my issue. This was a slight hiccup and delayed us getting to the mountain to board, however it worked out in the end. Will be back soon!!!

Condo was clean, roomy and very nice. Kitchen didn't have alot of glasses or well stocked. Government Camp is a small, small area. Not many dining options but we found the general store useful and enjoyed Mt Hood Brewing that's within walking distance. Out of season so we had the place to ourselves. Might be different during peak summer season.

Beautiful unit!

We have stayed in this unit a couple of times. It is spacious, clean and in a great location. However, there have always been "kinks" when we have stayed here. We have had trouble getting the DVD player to work and there are no instructions availble. The Vacasa 'specialists" by phone are not helpful. In the past we had trouble getting the fireplace going. Vacasa has nobody on sight to help with the issues and so it takes a while to get reliable help either by phone or by visit.

Great condo and location.

This was a great property for us. Lovely - comfortable. And the location to sno parks and ski bowl was great. Our kiddo loved the pool and hot tub. The only thing to work on was the parking which was a bit competitive and it didn’t help that 2 spots were filled with garbage when we arrived. Regardless- would absolutely go back and recommend. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Winter wonderland!

Great condo in a perfect location for skiing, hiking and walking distance to restaurants. The condo is very large and accommodating with plenty of sleeping space. The Murphy bed was a nice surprise too!

When we arrived the thermostat was set to 60, it took 12 hours for the temperature to get to 72. The fire place did not work and some of the dishes were dirty

The penthouse is beautiful. The bedroom close to the front has a bit more noise since it’s facing the highway . The beds are very comfortable with nice bedding
