We had a wonderful stay at Ted and Betty’s Mountain property. All of the instructions they provided were thorough and clear and the property itself is very charming and exactly what our family needed for this trip. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are a lot of sleeping options for adults and children. Its location was very convenient and we were able to walk easily to restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a lovely experience, thank you, Ted and Betty!

What a great little hangout

Location could not be better. Waliking distance to everything you’d want in Govy. Classic mid 70’s condo down to the orange counter tops in the kitchen. Super comfy. We had such a blast hanging out here in between our adventures. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Lovely time capsule in the perfect location

Our family has been going to this unit many times over the last 11 years and keep going back. We love that it feels so homey and familiar. The location is so convenient and walking distance to so much. We always look forward to adding onto our memories and appreciate the affordable price that allows us to stay there and do so.

Nicely positioned

This place is great for anyone who wants to visit the mountains, but aren’t super comfortable driving through the snow. The roads were cleared regularly and everything was in walking distance.

Cute little mountain condo

We loved this little gem of a condo. We had 6 adults, 2 teens and a child and everyone had their own bed. The little enclosed porch was perfect for storing wet gear. It's also very close to Ski Bowl and we could walk to the restaurants. We loved the lighted snowflake at the top of the stairs, and the kids though the lofts were the best. Parking was a little tight if people weren't paying attention to the rules and moving our large 12 passenger van was do-abke but tight. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

Snowboarding trip

Just wanted a place to get the family and some close friends on mt hood and this was a perfect place! Had a great time and made great memories. I would stay here again

The price is not too good to true

A quaint and decent place, with a very reasonable cost, especially for how many bedrooms it has. Now the quality of those beds is... not great. They aren't particularly comfortable. What's worse is the thin walls that allow you to hear everything that's going on around you. The property is cozy, and decent. It's clean, and it has a lot of beds, though they are not all super comfortable. The price is the best in town for as many bedrooms as you get, but there is also a reason it's so inexpensive.

Great rustic space

I’ve stayed here several times. It’s perfect for a large group. Steps away from store and restaurants. Short walk to Skibowl East or Summit ski area and to Timberline shuttle. Great communication with host. I’ll be back!

Prime location with fun layout

We love this home so much. You can feel love of this home. The layout and amount of places to sleep make it perfect for big families and kids. The mud room is so nice to have when coming in from a day of playing. The beds are comfortable, there are more than enough linens, i appreciate that there are toiletries for use in the bathrooms because I always forget mine, and like that there are a lot of spices and what not to use. I cant say enough good things about edelweiss 7, other than it holds such a special place in each of us in our family and we're always happy to return. Betty is such a lovely person as well and I always love talking to her.

Great location & great place

This is a great place in a great location in Government camp. The end unit of a small group of condos. Very quiet, lots of space with retro charm. Plenty of bedrooms if you have a big group. 2 families could share this nicely. We will definitely stay here again! Betty is a wonderful host and very communicative.

We enjoyed our stay and it is nice to have the driveway for the kids to enjoy the snow safely. The accommodations were good and cozy. I did appreciate the mud room for taking off wet boots and clothes.

Great location with plenty of space for the family!

This location couldn’t be better! In walking distance to anything you need. Lots of sleeping spaces to have everyone comfortable. Owners are as nice as they come and checked in with me multiple times right before my stay and went above and beyond to see if there would be snow for our stay etc. unfortunately Mother Nature had different plans and no snow. But we made the best of it. Overall, I would stay again due to the location, sleeping spaces, and kindness of the owners.

Absolutely wonderful hostess who always makes us feel like we’ve come home.

Clean, spacious and welcoming condo as described with a welcoming hostess who always makes us feel at home. If you’re looking for fussy, fancy, modern this might not be the place for you but if you’re interested in a fantastic time in a welcoming, clean home with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of space and perfection location in Government Camp then this is it.

Magic on the mountain.

This place was special from the beginning to end the cabin was a huge reason our group had such a blast. Great vibes, cool lay out, beautiful, and perfect location. Felt like something out of Harry Potter.

Grandma and Grandpa's hideaway! We purchased this property to make sure that our children and their children always had an amazing mountain side place to stay and enjoy with us in our Golden Years! The condo is 6 miles from Historic Timberline Lodge the Lodge was built out of huge trees built in 1935 by the forest service. Skiing, Snowboarding, Sleding, Intertubing Great winter fun. In the summer lots of hikeing trails, Mountain biking. Many activities in the town of Government Camp. Come and enjoy.

We remember the first day back in 2001 on a Saturday we drove uo to Government Camp to see Edelweiss # 7 We unlocked the door and it felt like walking into our own home Warm Inviting with the fireplace Each rooms telling us to come in and stay awhile.we could see our children and their children enjoying the Holidays together lots of room for everyone. Loved the kitchen being seperate from living area and the (Extra room as you enter from out side for Summer and Winter Items Sleds/skiis /Bikes etc and out door Clothing . 17 years later we and our family still get that excited feeling of locking out the busy world to find the peace and quiet of returning to our home away from home.
