Whether you're visiting to ski Mt. Hood, hike the many trails, or just relax at home in the glow of the gas fireplace, this charming, three-story retreat is ready to welcome you to the 'mountain town' of Government Camp.



This vacation rental boasts a well-equipped, full kitchen, a dining table for mealtimes or family game nights, and a cozy living area with a leather sectional and a flat screen TV. Outside, fire up your gas grill to add something special to your home-cooked menu, or just kick back and enjoy the forest view off your balcony.

Everything was exactly as advertised, spacious, and comfortable. We were in town for summer ski camp, and the location couldn't have been better. The home is right across from the community pool and within easy walking distance to restaurants. It made our trip convenient and stress-free. Highly recommend for families or groups looking for a great spot near Mt. Hood!

Ski trip for a birthday.

This place was super comfortable and well appointed. There are restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient location for skiing nearby. We had a great stay and look forward to staying here again.

The property is in a great location of Government Camp with Easy walk to access to dining. The Condo is clean and is conveniently located to the community pool. Plenty of beds and well furnished for a weekend stay.

Peaceful and convenient location

Loved the location of this property being so close to the pool area and backed against the creek and woods! The ping pong table was a hit and loved all the small details, like hangers and hooks, for drying gear after a day of play. Would definitely stay again!

Everything you need in Govt Camp

The condo was great, the kids loved the pool/hot tub/sauna. We had everything we needed. It’s an easy walk into town. There is no central AC but there was a portable unit and the evenings cool down nicely so opening windows and using the box fans upstairs worked out great.

Great Snow vacation

Comfy condo! This condo was clean with amply places to sleep. 2 queen beds, 4 bunk beds plus a cot. Nicely equipped kitchen. The walking trails, proximity to winter fun, and the hot pool were all major selling points of this location. I would stay there again.

Enjoyed our Stay

Our fam of 4 stayed for about 2 weeks in the summer for alpine camp. There’s no AC but it was cool enough we didn’t need it. The updated washing machine was super helpful and let us pack light. The condo unit is right next to the pool and our kids enjoyed it throughout our stay. We also had fun with the ping pong tables in the garage. We would come back. Thank you!

Wonderful condo by the mountain

Our daughter had ski races over the weekend so we wanted a place to stay that was close to the mountain. This was a wonderful place to accommodate our family of 5. The condo is conveniently located right by the pool/hot tub which was so nice to use after a long day of skiing. We walked to the Ratskeller for pizza since it is a short jaunt across the road. Check-in and check-out was easy peasy and the condo was very clean when we arrived. Wonderful property and we will come again! Thank you!

Room for improvement

We have stayed in these condos before. They are very conveniently located to skiing and being in government camp it's easy to get food at restaurants or the grocery store. This was a nice unit and we liked not having carpet on the main floor.

Presidents weekend

Location was great just down the street from the heated pool, hotubs and sauna. Couldn't find the tv instructions(how to get cable working??), but brought our chrome cast and that worked great. The heated garge was awesome, the temps were in the single digits and not having to worry about the car was a great relief. The kids really enjoyed pingpong a surprise we found in the garage.

Mount Hood Summer Ski Camp Visit

Well equipped condo, back of property is right next to creek, which is very nice. The deck has a great dining set and very nice Weber grill, which we enjoyed. The keypad died while we were there and no key was left in the lockbox. We would have been locked out if we had not left a window open on the 1st floor. Would leave a window cracked to guarantee access to property.

Filthy condo and worst customer service ever

The place was really dirty, it had not been cleaned at all since the last visit. Dirty bathrooms, toilet not flushed, linens not changed! I spent hours cleaning, Doing dishes and laundry and making the beds for everybody!The first day the pool and hot tub were closed, the second day the keys were changed and I was unable to get a new key since I was not the owner. I called several times and was promised that someone would give me a key. Vacasa did not bring a key, nor did they give me a discount on my stay. It truly was the worst trip ever CC! Everyone from Vacasa was rude and obviously did not care at all.

Great place until the power goes out.

First, the place is great and close to everything in Government Camp. We enjoyed one night out of three because the power went out and there was no backup generator. The entire condo complex basically shut down, as well as all but two businesses in Government Camp. There was no communication from the front office to see if we were okay or needed anything and we sat in a cold house for two days without heat. No refund or credit was given from Vacasa because it was weather related and they are “firm on their no refund decision” so we didn’t really have the best time. Upset that my friends didn’t enjoy themselves and flew from Chicago to ski, but the resorts were shut down as well and a state of emergency was called for the area, yet we still can’t be refunded. We had to complete our checkout in pitch black conditions with only small flashlights. This is not a dig on the house, it was as described and had we not had the power outage, it would have been much more enjoyable.

The condo had a great view of the river and was comfortable for my family of 4. I would have liked instructions for the heat, wifi, pool, etc. It took a very long time for the condo to warm up after we arrived. There were also dishes left in the dishwasher from the last guest.
