Had a great time. The house was a little unkept. Not very clean, but it wasn’t horrible. It was comfortable!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Sharon. We’re thrilled to hear that you had a great time and found the cottage comfortable. However, we genuinely appreciate your feedback regarding the cleanliness. That’s not the standard we aim for, and we’re sorry it fell short during your stay. We take pride in maintaining our homes to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests, and we’ll address this with our team to make sure it doesn’t happen again. We want every aspect of your stay to be enjoyable, and we’re grateful for your understanding. I loved my stay in Long Beach and I thought this cottage was charming. It isn't sleek and cookie-cutter like some newer accommodations but it has character and was great and comfortable for my needs, located on a very quiet street. I appreciated how well stocked the kitchen is, there were plenty of towels and pillows, and I could walk just about anywhere I wanted to go. My dog was happy in the fenced in yard. I plan to return next summer, or maybe even this winter and will take advantage of the fireplace.

Cynthia, it warms our hearts to hear how much you loved your stay at our charming cottage in Long Beach. We completely agree that its character sets it apart from the more cookie-cutter options out there. It sounds like you and your dog made the most of the fenced yard, and we’re glad the kitchen had everything you needed to whip up some tasty meals. Being on a quiet street while still being close to everything is a real gem, and we’re thrilled you found it convenient. The fireplace will be perfect for those cozy winter nights, and we would love to welcome you back whenever you decide to return. Enjoy the rest of your year, and we hope to see you soon!

Loved the house and the location. Fenced yard was great for our dog. Beach was close. Would have given a full 5 stars but the beds were very uncomfortable.

There were lots of games, movies, kitchen supplies. There were NO instructions regarding the TV,DVD, Vcr. The front steps are not very sturdy. The beds were comfortable but the Queen br had the bed shoved against wall so inconvenient for 2 People to get in. The patio around back was nice. The firepit seemed really close to the deck. Nice for the dog to go in and out.Overall it was quirky and comfortable but it wouldn't hurt to have some attention to some.details.

Thank you, Linda, for sharing your thoughts about your stay with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the games, movies, and the kitchen supplies we provided. It’s great to know that the patio and the firepit added to your experience, especially for your dog. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the TV and the sturdiness of the front steps. That shouldn’t have happened, and we’re committed to addressing these details to enhance our guests' comfort. We also understand how the bed placement in the Queen bedroom could be inconvenient, and we’ll look into that as well. Your insights are invaluable as we strive to create a cozy and welcoming environment for everyone. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide an even better experience next time.
