The Space:

Nestled in the forest, this classic log cabin will offer you easy access to the nearby Sandy River. Here you can spend your days hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, or simply relaxing in an Adirondack around the home's outdoor fire pit. The log cabin's interior is warm and cozy and includes a beautiful staircase made from natural logs. The centerpiece of the living area is a large stone fireplace where you can warm up after you return home from the day's adventures. The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) to use when you're not trying out one of the local restaurants or taverns. Outside, you'll find a gas grill and picnic table for al fresco meals, a hammock to nap in after your meal, and a firepit to gather around as the stars come out. With all of the classic vibes of a traditional cabin mixed with the modern comforts of home, what are you waiting for? Best Log Cabin is just waiting to assist in making the best memories.

Easy access off highway and close to trails, cabin was beautiful, clean and had nice updates in kitchen, comfy bed. Perfect, cozy, romantic space with a partner. Cons: shower heads were old and kitchen was well stocked except for something basic we needed; measuring spoons.

This home was peeve t for what we were looking for. Beautiful inside and out, very clean and quiet, and close to river access. The beds were very comfortable and the layout was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and amenities!

We loved this authentic log cabin with it’s homey mountain decor. The location is great- not far to Trillium Lake and numerous hikes. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were SUPER comfy and we loved having a nice grill to use outside. A great stay overall!

Lovely cabin

The cabin was lovely and so clean! The walk along the area was gorgeous. We enjoyed playing board games and having a fire. Can’t wait to visit again!

Cosy log cabin in the woods

Perfect location for exploring the Mt Hood area. Great any time of the year depending on what you enjoy doing. A cosy and warm place to return to after a day hiking in the wilderness.
