This rental is a gorgeous, recently updated villa located in the heart of Shipyard Plantation. This beautifully decorated getaway features stunning views of the lagoons and native wildlife as well as an open concept floor plan, comfortable seating, a wet bar, and a flatscreen TV. The dining area offers seating for six and access out to the private patio.



Guests of this rental will enjoy access to a shared pool and lighted tennis courts during their stay.

Great location

Location was the best attribute - close walk to the pool, right around the corner. Having a parking pass to park near the beach access was really great to have. Overall I give it a 4 star because of location.

Lovely Villa

Location in Evian was great…very peaceful setting. Furniture was all comfortable and clean. Bathrooms very nicely updated. Owner has great taste in the various “art” pieces throughout the villa.

Good Pet Friendly Rental

Great location. Lots of trails, near pool and tennis courts, updated furniture in family room, updated baths. Vinyl planks throughout family room and bedrooms.

Great Choice

This was probably the best VRBO we have rented since coming to HH. Great location. Clean and bright and well furnished, very roomy. Nice being on one floor, well laid out. Nice patio out the back. Looked to book next year and unfortunately already taken, not surprisd.

A Nice Vacation

The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for simple meals. The porch is nicely shielded from the golf course with tress. There is a nice spot off the porch for the dogs to do their business. And we always appreciate dog front rentals! We stay in Evian yearly and have been in several units. This one was nice but would benefit from some area rugs to soften it in the living room and dining room. The living room furniture was not that comfortable. The internet was glitching and would stop working frequently. None of these things would stop us from renting the unit again…just things to be aware of for other potential renters.

Great location: Tired unit

There were many issues while staying at the unit. These are issues we believe the owner could address to make this unit much better. Bedding was worn with ratty edges in 2nd bedroom and needs replacing, bathroom in master had leaky toilet, shower drain needed addressing, faucet in shower needs securing into the wall. Leak in the master bathroom during rainstorm. Icemaker not working at all. All these were address with the on call manager.

Loved the place...slight problem

The place has a huge ant problem. I called the property manager and it took 2 calls for someone to come out. Problem still existed. Although, I understand bugs are something you get on the coastal reagion but this was an infestation. I will not be returning to this property. Beware...the owners need to fix sugar ant problem. Other them that we would have been happy, but this ruined our trip.

Doubtful Return in the Future

The surroundings are pleasant and quiet with exception of the people in the unit upstairs. Many of the doors did not close and lock. Appliances such as the dishwasher (areas of rust inside and dirt/fur-hair under the door) and dryer (needed 4-5 sessions to dry clothes). Cooking utensils, dishes, silverware and other items needed to be cleaned. They looked as if they had been only rubbed with a towel. There a foreign item in the ice tray. Obviously, these were disappointments that should have checked after each cleaning. Overall, it was convenient for my conference, but lacking in many area regarding in cleaning and repair.

Place to stay

We loved the location of our condo. This is our second year staying in Evain. This condo was disappointing because furniture was worn out and very uncomfortable to sit on in the evening after enjoy the day. I would recommend Evian but not this condo until furniture is updated. Dishes and glasses also need to be checked over for chips.

Overdue Family Vacay

Overall the property was just as listed. It is walking distance to the pool and tennis courts. Villa is not beach front. It’s a 5 min drive to the Shipyard Plantation beach access. Older property with a few updates (bathrooms) which were nice. The kitchen necessities need to be updated. Old school coffee maker which I wasnt prepared for. Would def stay again.

Our Stay with Villa 209

The Villa was situated in a convenient area with a lot of amenities. the villa requires a little renovations with their carpet, furniture and kitchen cupboard. (Carpet was badly stained) Unfortunately, during our stay, the unit above us were completing carpet renovations, so we had to listen to a lot of tapping and drilling in the morning. We wished the owners would coordinate their Reno’s, especially when they know that they have a scheduled booking.

Very good experience. Very clean, well kept unit. Would definitely stay there again. Shipyards is a great place to visit with a lot of beauty and amenities. Only negative, the unit was a little hard to find.
