The Space:

This resort is built on a tropical landscape that gets pleasant breezes from the ocean. On the balcony, you can unwind and check out the grassy plains and the pool area from the patio.



The ocean is only a few feet away from this tropical resort property, and Coligny Plaza is within walking distance. Throughout the lovely landscaped grounds, there are paths that lead to different destinations. In the pool zone, there is a swimming option for kids and another pool for older vacationers, as well as a hot tub.



This two-level townhouse has a spacious living room that's equipped with a sofa and several chairs, a 37-inch television with basic cable and a DVD player. In the master bedrooms, there is a 26-inch TV and a large bed, and another bed and modern furniture are equipped in the guest bedroom. Both bedrooms on the second level have a ceiling fan, and all of the bathrooms in the villa have a tub and shower. The villa also has free WiFi, laundry facilities, and central heating and cooling.

Dish wasn't clean didn't like only having 2 parking space. We travel from different locations so parking overnight was hard. We are on vacation and was not happy

Love Shorewood!!

This condo was the perfect location and size for our family. We had a group of 6, so the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were great! We loved being right on the beach and having the resort pool for relaxing and cooling off after a beach day. I will also echo another review and say that as long as the upstairs bedrooms are kept closed, the bedrooms stay quite cool! Having the shops of Coligny so close by is also a great bonus to this condo. Would definitely stay again!

Vacation Sucess!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Shorewood. The upstairs was not hot just as long as you keep the upstairs bedroom doors shut. Beautiful condo plenty of room for 4 adults and two kids. Pool/Beach was wonderful. So many things in walking biking distance. When we got there we parked our car and didnt get back in until we left a week later.

we felt so comfortable here, There is room for all 7 Of us. Pool was awesome, loved how you just walk in! Great hot tub to! It is so nice just to walk a short walk on walkway instead of just sand! And a short walk to the colonigy shops

Ladies trip

We would book this condo again. The area is quiet. Plenty of seating for our party of 5. Close walk to the beach and Coligny Plaza. We had an excellent time.

Nice villa needing cooling

The villa was quite nice overall and we'd gladly stay here again. The only issue was the inability of the second floor A/C to cool that area down to the set point. Other than that, a very nice place.

Enjoyable Week

Overall good experience. Place was as described and very clean. Could use some cosmetic and appliance updates, but not a deal breaker. Plenty of room and great for our multigenerational family. Spiral staircase could be a problem for some folks. Close to beach and great pool area. Walking distance to Coligny.

Comfortable and pleasant

I can't imagine a better location in this part of Hilton Head. Beautiful pool area and a short secure path the beach. Just far enough down it wasn't crowded with people visiting Coligny Beach. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of towels were provided. We slept every night with the balcony door open and enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. Note: Bring your own beach towels and if anyone in your party has mobility issues there are stairs up to the unit and two bedrooms are accessed by a spiral staircase

Great Location

Shorewood is a wonderful location. Easy walk or bike ride to anything you need. Beach is very nice, not super crowded like the public beach even though it is close by. The pool is great, especially for little Kids with a zero entry, Deepest part is 5ft. Was always able to get a chair or table to sit at. The condo was very nice and spacious. All bedrooms had plenty of closet space and room to move around even with the bedroom furniture. Beds were comfortable and condo stayed cool during the day if you kept blinds and doors shut. They had a closet with beach toys and chairs and one full Of books and game's and puzzles. The fridge is on the smaller side and the Ice maker is TERRIBLE. Be prepared to purchase ice if you want to pack a cooler. The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything you need, Except a crockpot and countertop ice maker. Would definitely recommend!

Shut out at Shorewood

Upon arrival to the condo, we made many attempts to enter and our code failed and the battery was failing. After contacting multiple people including Vacasa in person and 2 others on the phone, a locksmith was called and got us in at 10:30 PM five hours after arrival. The upstairs ac struggled to keep the air cool. After a tech came and changed the very dirty filters it improved some but was never 100% during our stay. We did discuss compensation multiple times, but no one gave me a number or got back with me at all about it.

Amazing Hilton Head Location

We loved the location of this rental property. We could see the pool, ocean, and sunrise from our balcony. We were within walking distance of Coligny Beach and Coligny Plaza. Coligny Plaza has everything you want/need for a HHI visit! Such fun shopping and great eateries. The property itself was fine. In reading previous reviews, it sounded more outdated than how it really presents. Yes, the carpets could be replaced, but overall, the accommodations were adequate and just what we needed - we were hardly there anyway! I liked that each bedroom had a private TV and bath - so everyone could retreat to their own private space as needed. What I will say is that I don't know if the Management Company is doing the owner any favors. The house could have been cleaner at check-in (there were some food items still remaining under the table in the master bedroom). We also had a full dishwasher to unload upon check-in. We arrived late - and check-in was VERY easy, as was check-out. Everything was in working order, and we didn't need to communicate with either the owner or the Management group. The location was so fabulous that we would easily rent again.

Best Location and Great Value

Three of us (me and my 2 grown daughters) stayed in the Shorewood complex 2 years ago and this unit was laid out identically to that one but we liked the bedroom arrangement better. As with all VRBO properties (many over the years) the furnishings and appliances are very tired. One of my biggest complaints in my experience is the lack of TV instructions AND when there are 4 different combinations throughout the property it gets frustrating if there are no instructions on the remote controls. VACASA did provide instructions about recycling (which is also often a question in other properties). The king bed upstairs is hard as a rock and there is an overabundance of pillows in all of the bedrooms but no pillow cases - that was kinda odd. More kitchen linens (including potholders) would be nice. They advertise "ice maker". Um, not so much. BUY a small bag until you figure out what you need. The kitchen was adequate for our culinary needs; we have had better and we have had worse. We traded off cooking dinners for 4 nights and ate out nearby the other 3 nightVACASA provides laundry pods and dishwasher things and liquid soap as well as soaps and shampoo/conditioner in all three bathrooms. The description of the bathrooms on VRBO also stated that there was tub shower combos in all of the baths but the reality is there is only one tub which is fine for us. Location is the best and overall a good value. VACASA very responsive to minor issues. That's all I have room for!

Vacasa not so great

Needs some major improvements. 1. The upstairs A/C did not work when we got there on Saturday. There is a post card on the wall saying to keep the bedroom doors shut so they will cool. Sunday was no better even with doors shut. 84* in the bedroom had to sleep downstairs on the sofa. Monday called Vacasa to report problem, no response to message left. We went and bought fans to blow cool air upstairs. Checked the air filters and they hadn't been changed since Nov. 2020. Good thing there's no airborne virus going around huh? They were so clogged and nasty we removed them. I have pictures I will share. HVAC tech finally came on Tuesday and got units running and replaced the filters. 2. The refrigerator constantly drips water out of the freezer down onto all your food in the fridge. Another postcard saying to remember to close the door real good. Zero followup from the property manager after issues. No apology or offer of a refund for three days with no A/C. 3. There is a rug by the the patio doors that has been taped down poorly. It sticks up about two inches on the corner and my 2 and 3 year old grand-daughters were constantly tripping over it. It's right beside the TV and sitting area. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Don't waste your money.

The layout and sleeping accommodations were perfect for our family vacation. Convenient to pool and beach. Kitchen is well stocked with pans and utensils. Plenty of bath towels were supplied.
