Guest Access:
The entire home is yours to enjoy -- make yourself at home from the moment you arrive. This home welcomes up to 2 dogs -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.
The Neighborhood:
Take morning walks down to Stengel Beach (less than a mile north) and Pebble Beach (one mile south), tee off among the cypress at the Sea Ranch Golf Links five miles north, and explore the markets, restaurants, and galleries in downtown Gualala six miles north. The community features miles of bluff-top and forest trails, tidepools, two heated community pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge with its restaurant, lounge and café.
Getting Around:
This two-level home sits on the west side of California Highway 1, a quarter-mile south of the heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, and saunas at the Ohlson Recreation Center. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

Cozy, comfortable, and scenic in every season, the living space offers natural wood walls, free WiFi throughout, and a pellet stove to warm your toes on foggy mornings. Begin each morning with homemade waffles and freshly ground coffee in the full kitchen, leaving the dishwasher to clean up as you take your dogs for a stroll (Good to know: a two-dog limit applies).
Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.
Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.
December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails.
