Enjoy community access to heated pools, tennis courts, saunas, and some of the loveliest trails and beaches on the Northern California Coast, and come home each evening to relax in the beauty of the forest. If you hop in the car for a scenic drive up the coast, you'll find the Sea Ranch Chapel five miles north, the Sea Ranch Golf Links eight miles north, and several markets, restaurants, and galleries in charming downtown Gualala one mile beyond. Some of the best pastries in the area also await at Twofish Baking in the Stewarts Point Store only four miles south.

The entire home is yours to enjoy -- make yourself at home from the moment you arrive. This home welcomes up to 1 dog -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.
The Neighborhood:
Perched along the Sonoma Coast, The Sea Ranch is a nature lover's paradise -- think tidepools, wildflower meadows, and redwood groves at your doorstep. Nearby highlights include community heated pool and hot tub (South) (3-minute drive), Pebble Beach access trail (3-minute drive), Black Point headland trails (4-minute drive). Between the coastal trails, tidepools, heated pools, and The Sea Ranch Lodge's restaurant, you could fill a week without leaving the community. For provisions, Gualala (10 minutes south) has grocery stores, restaurants, and a gas station. Jenner and Bodega Bay are scenic drives south.
Getting Around:
This home sits on the east side of California Highway 1, less than a mile from Black Point Beach and the incredible Bluff Trail that traces the ocean shoreline. The Moonraker Recreation Center, with its outdoor heated pool, saunas, and tennis/pickleball court, is just across Highway 1. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.
Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.
Whale watching season runs from December through April -- grab the binoculars and watch for gray whale spouts from your window. Spring (April-June) brings a wildflower show across the coastal meadows -- lupine, poppies, and iris paint the landscape. Summer (June-September) brings the warmest days and longest light. Morning fog is common along the coast -- it usually burns off by midday.
Up to 1 dog are welcome (max 25 lbs each). Please keep dogs on leash on trails and clean up after them.
