This home is new to the Relax Rental family and will be ready to welcome guests in Spring 2026. Photos and a virtual tour are coming soon....we're busy getting the home rental-ready to meet the high standards you expect from a Relax Rental property (and waiting on the snow to melt so we can show off the truly extraordinary outdoor space!).

This spacious 6-bedroom, 3-bath home sits right on the bayou in downtown Douglas (minutes from Saugatuck) and offers the perfect blend of comfort, space, and location. Built on the former site of the historic Douglas Sawmill, the home carries a quiet sense of history while delivering the clean, cozy experience Relax Rentals is known for.

The home features three full floors, each with two bedrooms and a full bathroom - ideal for large families, friend groups, or multi-family vacations who want to stay together while still enjoying privacy. Expect exceptional cleanliness, comfortable beds, and plenty of pillows to help you truly unwind.

The backyard is a showstopper: an open deck overlooking the bayou, a swim spa, gas fire pit, and expansive green space perfect for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying the peaceful waterfront setting.

Quiet secluded spot with plenty of sunshine. Lovely view of the water without any close-by water traffic. Swans and geese paddling by frequently and the bird calls from the shallows right across from the lake's edge is neat to hear. Good bird-watching from the firepit and deck. Slept the 10 in our party wonderfully in the many bedrooms. Kitchen is brand new with most appliances and kitchen items never previously used.I left my suit hanging in the closet. Jenni at the management company RelaxRental.com is fabulous! She dropped what she was doing and drove to the house to pick up my formal business suit and mail it to me same day after I had driven several hours away and was super pleasant about it. So nice of her and above and beyond expectations.
