The two bedroom, two bath condo was very nice and very clean. We would definitely stay here again. The pool was right outside and to the left of the condo. The beach was a short walk around the corner. The pool was nice on some of the colder days, as it was protected from the north winds. Loved the short walk to sunset park and enjoying the sunset with other onlookers.

Absolutely one of the best locations in the Keys

Absolutely beautiful place. Everything you will need for complete relaxation in one place! Clean well kept condo with everything needed to just sit back and enjoy! Owner was quick to respond with any questions we had prior to our arrival!

Key Colony Beach Oasis

A beautiful condo at the beach. It delivered all that was advertised and more. Great location steps from private beach and pool. Fully stocked and ready to enjoy. Perfect location to explore all Marathon Key has to offer. Plus it's an easy drive to Key West which was a fun day trip. Plenty to do it kept us occupied for a week. We had a great time

PERFECT condo resort!! Beautiful landscaping! This condo is so close to pool and beach. Condo has everything needed! 1st floor & near parking - so easy to load and unload. We never heard neighbors. What a fabulous relaxing week!!!

Very nice place wonderful vacation

Please let your guests know that sombrero beach has a park to pay it cost me $45 as I did not see it where we parked. Your place is a great location. We tried to make sure everything was cleaned up. Pool and beach were great.

Nice condo

Condo was awesome! Michelle was easy to reach and responded very quickly. HOA has a few too many rules but i guess its needed!?!? Location was quiet and perfect.

Hidden Gem!

My family had the perfect vacation at Sea Isle! The beach and grounds are gorgeous! It was a bit windy during our stay, so we spent a lot of time by the pool, too. Key Colony Beach is a perfect location for any adventure in the Keys. Our favorite outing was the Marathon Turtle Hospital—we attended the release of one of the turtles the following day! What a special place. Thank you so much, Michele!

First time visitor

We stayed for 10 glorious days over Christmas. The location was great, the whole property was clean and the people were all nice. I loved the fact that we had our own private beach. I loved waking up each morning to the sunrise and feeling the nice ocean air. Would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay in Key Colony

We truly enjoyed our stay in Key Colony. The community is so friendly and quiet. We enjoyed a full stocked kitchen, time at the pool and ocean. We thought we would be able to see the ocean from the balcony, but shrubs block any view. I highly recommend this unit. Don’t miss the Sunday concert at sunset park, added bonus!

Thank you for the review. We are happy you enjoyed yourselves, our condo and the Sunday concert at Sunset Park. No, we do not have a direct ocean view. There are only 6 premium units that have a direct ocean view. We are located in the middle building first floor. Our view from our patio is a small view of the ocean. After stepping off the patio to the sidewalk you will see the ocean as you walk to the tiki hut. We have a sidewalk off our patio to the tiki hut and beach with shrubbery on each side of the sidewalk. Thank you again. Key Colony Beach is the gem of the Keys!

Awesome location!

Wonderful area to stay in. Condo is well equipped. Love first floor and not having to go up stairs. Grilling area outside is the best. Lots of beach chairs out front to use. Communication with owner is great. Key Colony is a quiet safe location. Sunrise is beautiful out front. This is our 2nd stay here and we'll be back

Great place

The location was amazing. The complex has its own little beach with lounge chairs. The unit was fine, could stand to be updated or at least fresh coat of paint. Kitchen supplies were ample. If you use more than one set of towels or the beach towels that are supplied- the renter has to wash them and without a washer/dryer in the unit it was a little annoying. But overall great place; quiet couldn’t hear the neighbors or people above you.

Amazing

We had such a great time. The beach on the property was the perfect size. The complex was quiet but I also think it had to be sound proof because I never heard anybody outside. There were coolers, snorkels, pool floats (by the pool). The ONLY thing I would change is having a chiller for the pool. It was mid July during a heat wave and both the beach and pool were not refreshing. There was so much to do in Marathon your day could be as action packed as you please.

Attention with cleaning

Beach and all buildings amenities is great, pool clean, barbecue are so great, The apto is spacious, kitchen has all amenities. The only matters is the cleaning. The apto it was terrible dirt, all towels and beds sheets dirt. We spent until 3:00 am on the first day trying to wash and dry everything to sleep and take a shower. Sofa is really dirt, so we cover to seat. Besides the cleaning, everything else is good.

We appreciate your feedback. Apparently, the issues happened upon your arrival. We wish we had been notified of your concern at that time. We were unaware of any issues until your review was published from Vrbo, a month later. Not sure what happened. We employ a cleaning service that has been serving the condo complex and ourselves for many years. The guest that vacated a few hours before your arrival, gave a nice review and the guest that arrived the same day you vacated, not only gave a good review but gave a deposit and is renting next year. If we were notified at the time of the incident, we would have responded. Sorry for the unusual experience. Diane and Charlie

One of the Best Places We Have Stayed in the Mid-Keys

Both the location and the actual unit itself were perfect. The fact that the unit was on the first floor, first door off the hallway from the parking lot, so very easy to bring in luggage, scuba gear, groceries et cetera. The pool was steps away. The ocean and the nice little beach was about a 90 second walk. And it actually was a beach and good for swimming or wading. Many of the waterfront properties in the keys are only calf or knee deep. This was very lucky. Loved that in the common picnic areas they have grills with propane tanks already attached. Inside the unit absolutely everything we needed, Particularly appreciate the abundance of toilet paper, paper towels; also spices and all the things that just don't make sense to buy if you're only staying a week or two. Could not possibly have been better. And the owner and property manager were incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Needs some TLC

Key Colony Beach is a great place to stay. The condo had an updated kitchen, after that...... not much else. The rest of the condo is totally outdated, and the beds definitely could use new mattresses and updated linens. The bathroom I was using wasn't particularly clean, the floor and behind the door were very dirty. I used my hair dryer in the spare bathroom, and set off the fire alarm to the entire building! By using a hair dryer! The building manager tried to explain it away, but after that incident, I had to use the master bathroom to dry my hair, didn't want that to happen again. All in all, the stay was just.....meh.

Thank you for the review. In reference to the hair dryer, the internet states a dusty hair dryer can trigger a smoke alarm. This has never happened at our complex. All linens which are plentiful, have mostly been replaced in the past 4 months. updated? The mattresses are excellent quality. We were at the condo for about 10 days in May and slept very comfortable. We realize everyone has their own preference for a mattress, firm, soft etc. There is nothing better than sleeping in your own bed. The 2 full sized bathrooms should have been completely cleaned. Our cleaning service is reliable and conscientious of their work. We wish we were contacted upon arrival; we could have addressed and intervened to make your visit more enjoyable. Putting ourselves in the renter's shoes or flip flops, we go above and beyond to supply and provide everything and anything we can think of to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. We have repeat bookings and we have good reviews. Thank you again.
