Villa 'Casa Romantica' with Sea View, Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning

Casa Romántica is situated on the outskirts of Salobrena, in a residential urbanisation in the countryside. The house is less than 15 minutes drive from the town of Salobrena (6km). To get to the house you have to climb several stairs (about 35 steps) but it is well worth it, as once at the top you can enjoy spectacular views of the sea, the mountains and the castle of Salobrena. The best thing about the house is its terrace, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner or even a barbecue next to the swimming pool (good size and open all year round), it is ideal for the whole family. The house, built in the 80's, is in its original state and is decorated in the traditional Spanish style of the time. This house is for those families who want to enjoy a quiet holiday on the outskirts of the village but still be within easy reach of the beach and the good restaurants that Salobrena and the surrounding area has to offer. The two storey house consists of a small open plan kitchen, living-dining room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms all with showers (the house can accommodate 6 people). All bedrooms and the living room have AC.The house has WIFI. Parking is available on the street, even in high season. Pets are allowed on request (please contact us before booking). Events and parties are forbidden. Access stairs to the house are from the road. There are no handrails, although the steps are wide and the last part of the steps are adjacent to the house, therefore there are low garden walls for support. This house is not suitable for the elderly or people with reduced mobility. It is essential to have a car to go to the village where you will find all kinds of services: supermarkets such as Mercadona, Lidl, Carrefour, banks, restaurants, parks, pharmacies and the arabic castle from the 10th century.

Fabulous location and views

We loved our stay at Casa Romantica. The location of the villa on a quiet road and the amazing views are very special. The villa is comfortable and homely if a little run down. There was no TV which was not a problem for us but the Villa is advertised as having one. The outside space is fantastic with a large garden with fruit trees, terrace and beautiful pool (bracing at this time of year!).

Casa Romantica

Very nice views of ocean from top of a hill. To get to home requires a stair of over 30 steps with no hand railing. Taking luggage to home is a challenge. No garage, park is on the street. Property manager is very nice.

Lovely holiday

Property in a location with fantastic views. We know the area and returned because it isn’t as busy as well known Spanish resorts. All amenities needed were in the villa. Some furnishings and kitchenware were a little dated/old and crockery and glasses were all mismatched. A Few snags that manager will see to. Overall a good experience.

Ein schönes Haus mit Atmosphäre und tollem Ausblick auf das Meer.

Pros: Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet mit Lebensmitteln wie Öl, Essig, Gewürze, Spülmittel, Geschirrhandtücher usw. Selbst die Toiletten waren in den ersten Tagen mit WC-Papier ausgestattet und im jeweiligen Bad war eine Seife und ein Haarfön parat. Die Gastbetreuerin Kery war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wenn es Probleme zu lösen gab. Sie war über WhatsApp immer zu erreichen und sehr entgegenkommend. Cons: Hin und wieder war ein Baulärm störend. Die Pfannen in der Küche sollten ausgewechselt werden, weil hier desöfteren Kartoffeln oder Fisch in der Pfanne haften blieb, weil sehr viele Kratzer darin waren. Die Schränke sollten innen etwas mehr gereinigt werden. Der Gasgrill war auch sehr heruntergewirtschaftet und nicht sauber gereinigt. Der Gasbrenner ging nicht selbständig an, sondern musste über ein Feuerzeug angezündet werden und die Platte entfernt werden. Das Aluminium-Besteck sollte aus meiner Sicht ausgetauscht werden zu einer etwas besseren Qualität. Die Matratzen könnten auch mal wieder ersetzt werden.

Für uns war das ein herrlicher Urlaub zum genießen und entspannen.

Pros: Die Betreuung ist perfekt. Die Kommunikation hat prima geklappt. Die Aussicht ist einfach nur zum genießen! Cons: Die Arbeitsfläche in der Küche, das Geschirr und die Spüle habe ich selbst gereinigt.
