Yellowstone National Park Operating Dates
The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is open seasonally. The typical summer season runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until mid-December and re-opens for the winter “oversnow” travel season typically from mid-December until mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April.
