Welcome home to Hilltop Hideaway! Experience all that the beautiful Black Hills has to offer while making this perfectly located custom cabin your vacation headquarters.

This brand new one bedroom, one bathroom cabin is conveniently located just 4 miles northwest of Custer SD and only minutes away from area attractions such as Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave National Monument, Jewell Cave and much more. Close by neighboring towns include Hill City, Keystone, Rapid City, Hot Springs, and Newcastle Wyoming.

You are sure to find that relaxation with peace and quiet you’ve been looking for while at the cabin watching the local wildlife passing through the yard.

For the UTV lover, this place is perfect with miles and miles of Black Hills National Forest trails just off the doorstep, no pavement, and plenty of on site trailer parking!

If traveling with RV family or friends, we do have full hookups at the cabin for an additional nightly fee so everyone can stay together.

The cabin was very quiet and relaxing. With beautiful views mornings and evening. Enjoyed the deer and turkey almost every day. Conveniently located to all we wanted to see. I recommend it

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful place to stay close to Custer State Park. It was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed at. The cabin was very well thought-out and had everything we needed. Very charming and comfortable interior. It was fun to watch the wildlife from the porch. The hosts were very attentive and informative. Would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional property! Beautiful cabin which is close to Custer and area attractions but still offers peace and quiet in a country setting. It is very clean & tastefully decorated. It’s well furnished, has a fully stocked kitchen, good lighting and a comfy bed. We used and appreciated the gas grill and fire pit. Host was very responsive and helpful. Perfect place to stay in the Black Hills!

This cute private cabin is the perfect place to enjoy Custer and the black hills. My wife and I loved everything about it. I also really appreciated having a place to plug in my ev charger right at the cabin. Thank you!

Great cabin near Custer. Convenient to Custer, Crazy Horse, Custer SP, Mount Rushmore. New construction and everything is in great condition. Hosts were very good about communicating.

A sparkly clean 1 bedroom cabin near Custer with contemporary furnishings and a comfy cozy king bed. There's a cute porch and 2 window units that work well. It's tricky finding in the night side it's a new property. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful. The coffee maker is perfect.

The only thing was the very strong iron taste in the water. Also noisy window a/c units. Otherwise it was great.

Sorry for the iron in the water. Its very common for the entire Black Hills and the drought we are in seemsto make it more concentrated. The well water is filtered and completely safe for consumption, but can be off putting to folks who arent used to it.

This is a very cozy space with just enough seclusion to give a sense of peacefulness in the Black Hills. There is a short drive on very smooth gravel to reach the cabin. The photos of the space are accurate. The living space is well thought out. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the artwork depicting scenes from the surrounding Black Hills. The bed is expecially comfortable. Nighttime is particularly quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck from where it is possible to see deer, elk, and wild turkeys. There is a Mickelson trailhead immediately across the highway from the turnoff to the property. We found the hosts to be quite responsive and anxious to make sure we had a good experience. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

We found this crazy amazing place planning our trip to Mt Rushmore and the black hills . It’s everything we could have wanted and more ! Quiet -peaceful in nature , but in a gorgeous cabin like home . We were greeted by An American flag , Bbq grill , seating around a fire pit , easy parking (lighted and safe) porch with table and chairs and that’s only the outside!! Inside was perfect ! Every detail from the fireplace /heater to the lovely stocked kitchen and bathroom , washer dyer , warm comfortable bed and bedding with lovely decor including books of the area and suggestions . We only needed one short communication with the hosts when we arrived and both were very kind - after that no need to for them because everything was perfect . The location excellent !!! 2 mile from crazy horse and all other areas equally easy to one and go from. It was one of the best places we have stayed and we have had a lot to compare . We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave !!!

The cabin was beautiful! Was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, loved having a air fryer available. Was quiet and relaxing. Seen deer right outside the cabin daily. Would recommend staying here!

Great place and great location. We saw a fawn 30 feet from our door one morning. The fire pit and back view took our stay to the next level! This place is on our list for a future visit!
