We have new management and are excited to bring a personal touch to our hosting! We would love to hear from you about your stay: what you loved, what needs improving and what would make you want to book here again! We enjoy our place mostly in the winter season as a ski cabin where we come with our 5 year old daughter and dog, Liv. This is our family's magic place and we can't wait to share it with you. - David and Leah Marlow
この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
We wanted to raise our daughter with an opportunity to experience the wilderness easily. We live in Edmonds, and wanted to teach her to ski at White Pass Ski Area. This cabin is our dream come true and we never expected to also be on the water. The river and all it offers is a true joy.
この宿泊施設の特徴
This cabin was created to feel a little magical—part retreat, part gathering place, part memory making, part place to do absolutely nothing at all. We’ve tucked in details for both grown-ups and kids, quiet mornings and long evenings.
The front door isn’t actually in the front—it’s around the back of the home, accessed by a keyless lock. (Consider it your first encounter with the cabin’s character.)
We’ve got a smart TV ready with all the apps for streaming your favorites—log in with your own accounts and pick up right where you left off on your latest obsession (we won’t judge).
The kitchen is the center of the home and fully stocked with tools and gadgets, whether you’re making a full dinner or just morning coffee.
Around the corner in the dining room, you’ll find a coffee + tea station and a wine/beer/beverage bar ready for slow starts and easy evenings.
We usually keep pantry basics (oils, spices, etc.) on hand—these are there for you to use, though not always guaranteed.
There are extra sleeping options tucked throughout: a pull-out upstairs and several floor mattresses that are perfect for kids or cozy overflow.
There are tons of games, books, toys, fishing poles, nets, stroller, beach chairs, etc, throughout the home, upstairs and down.
The downstairs den (more quirky cabin character) Through the garage (which we have converted to a playroom/game room), you’ll find the bunk room and en-suite bath—a slightly separate zone that tends to become its own little world.
Books are meant to be discovered here. Our small book monster works like a free little library—take a book, and if you can, leave one behind… or return it on your next visit!
If you wander up the street to the left, you’ll find a rock path leading down to the river bed. When the water is low, it opens into a beautiful place to explore—just use extra care, as conditions can shift.
Settle in, slow down, and enjoy the rhythm of the river
