The Space:

Part of the extensive Homestead Resort community here in Glen Arbor, this charming condo is a terrific way to experience all that this year-round destination has to offer! Stay close to home and enjoy ski slope views, and an all-season sunroom. In warm weather, walk to the popular Bayview Trail, the Sleeping Bear Dunes Heritage Trail, and the Homestead golf course's first tee. In the winter, this course transforms into groomed, cross-country trails, so don't forget your skis! This property is also conveniently close to several other attractions including the community's beach access, complimentary tennis and pickleball courts, the Village at the Homestead for shopping and dining, the Sleeping Bear Point Coast Guard Station Maritime Museum, and the Robert H. Manning Memorial Lighthouse, all within a few miles of your door. Back home, whip up your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and counter seating. Dine at the nearby table - perfect for rainy day board games - and then settle into the main living area to watch a movie. A private washer/dryer lets you pack light for your trip and keep your laundry under control during your stay. Please note that this property does not have A/C. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. All guests shall abide by The Good Neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Shared laundry quiet hours: 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa Michigan LLC.

Going in we knew it was "outdated" but that is putting it mildly. We had problems with the TV and called maintenance. They were unable to come until after we left. We ended up not be able to relax on the sectional and watched TV in the bedroom on a very small TV instead. The bed is not comfortable at all - it could use a pillow top or a new mattress. There were 3 outlets in the kitchen and main room that did not work, so we toasted bread on the dining room table. Walls are thin and we could hear the others also in the building as if they were in the same room. Overall, we did a lot of activities in Leland, Empire and Glen Arbor. The location was great.
