The Space:

Lovingly updated in 2018-2019, this oceanfront condo at The Pyramid is a showcase of the beauty, fun, and relaxation that await in midtown Ocean City. Step inside to find an upgraded living space with new bathrooms, a new AC system with high-efficiency cooling, new beds, and an updated kitchen with new appliances and an oversize counter with seating and plentiful room to spread out. There's an open dining and living area with a new, custom queen sofabed and coordinating custom upholstered chairs. The spacious balcony can be enjoyed all day long, featuring an outdoor sectional sofa, a dining table, and solar-powered fairy lights that twinkle all around. Enjoy two TVs (a 42-inch and a 55-inch), two DVD players, and free WiFi with a bedroom extender. The Pyramid is an Ocean City landmark, offering a unique architectural design and a prime location on the beachfront. Enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and an oceanfront deck on the grounds, as well as easy access to a shopping center and public tennis courts directly across the street. Here on Coastal Highway, you'll be within blocks of all sorts of restaurants, shops, conveniences, miniature golf courses, and nightlife. The 58-acre expanse of Northside Park is less than two miles north, while Fenwick Island is just over three miles north across the Delaware state line. THINGS TO KNOW A $40 registration fee is due at check-in at Pyramid building year-round. The fee Includes use of on-site amenities and one (1) parking space. No smoking Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

great spot for 2 people - reasonably priced - never stayed at Pyramid before - not bad - super easy to get to the beach - the way parking is set up- you can leave your beach stuff in your car daily and not haul it back and forth to the room. Super convenient! Also - it's a quick walk next door to the plaza to use their pool bar and outdoor spot for lunch while at the beach!

Everything necessary with a great view

It’s not the most up-to-date building but it is clean, conveniently located, secure with pool access and excellent beach access with great ocean front views. Nice to have internet, parking, laundry and linens included. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home

This home is a great place for a couple or single family. Excellent few of the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was cold, but we could enjoy the beach from our room. There was a welcome package that just made us feel special.

Another great visit.

Love the Pyramid. We visit each September and love the late summer atmosphere. Switched to a one bedroom unit and was very pleased with the layout and furnishing.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, great views, and the pyramid in general is a great location. We did go down to the “heated” pool one evening and the water was pretty cold so we were a bit disappointed we couldn’t take advantage of that.

Spectacular Views! Great Location!

Rental has everything you need; location, easy check-in, pool, beach, walking distance to great restaurants such as Bull on the Beach, Lombardi's Italian Food, Liquid Assets (Breakfast at Laytons). For fun, walk next door to the Jungle Bar Restaurant/outside bar on ocean with live entertainment/food. We will definately become regulars to the Pyramids!!!! The solar lights on the balcony rail was a nice touch!!!!

Picture Worthy Views - Outside

Ocean front balcony - so the view is fabulous. The washer/dryer worked well, though the bathroom light/fan had to be left on otherwise the entire bathroom fogged up when the dryer was running.

Excellent

I just spent a week there with my husband and two daughters, and my sister and her son joined us for two nights in the middle of the week. It was definitely a comfortable fit for the 4 of us, but 6 felt a little crowded. Overall we were very pleased with the property. Everything was in good condition and the furniture is very comfortable. The balcony was everyone's favorite spot, but the breakfast nook was also much appreciated. The building staff were also very friendly and the heated pool was perfect after a swim on the cold ocean. I also loved that I could look out from the balcony and clearly see my family on the beach. Overall great stay!

Stayed a week

The wifi was trash. Honestly it barely worked. Had to stay in the living room and the connection was still bad. WiFi didn't work in the bedroom. The tv didn't work in the bedroom. The tv in the living room barely worked. Some days it connected to the internet other days it wouldn't. Also the condo could’ve been cleaned better. The refrigerator smelled like fish. Sand was everywhere when arrived.

Beautiful views , terrible service

The views were gorgeous but the cleaning service left the floors so slippery I fell. I contacted the managers it took two days for them to check the property and they never let us know they actually came to the room. I had already dried the floors multiple times with my towels which they said they would replace and never did . The units floors were always wet . The cleaners never emptied the dishwasher ( we found this on the last day) , there was not sheets available for the pull out couch like they said , I had asked if there was a coffee pot available… I was told there was none in that unit so I brought one from home to find there was 2 coffee pots there , I was never alerted I could check in like they said , when I tried to get a parking pass and ask where I was supposed to park I was told I do not need one … fast forward 4 days and they tried to tow my vehicle ! The management office was very rude and talked down to us when I tried to remove some of our complaints. The wet floors were the biggest problem because whatever they clean with made it very slippery and I had my 73 year old mother with. There was also constant puddles on the stove top and on the floor in front of the refrigerator. The house keepers also turned off the refrigerator so all of our meats we had bought spoiled before the refrigerator was cold enough . I wish we had better experience
