For the price and location this condo was cute, however for the same price you could stay in a high rise hotel with ocean front views... We truly only used the condo to sleep and shower, the bed was very uncomfortable, the shower didn't have good water pressure, and you're expected to squeegee after (what's the point of the cleaning fee?) The bathrooms are much more cramped in person than it shows in the photos, along with the bedroom. The walls and floor are like paper, you can hear everything 24/7 ESPECIALLY at night. Between the stomping over the bedroom ceiling and the constant yelling, we did not get a single full night of sleep. Something I still can't get over was the only 1 set of towels per person, and the sets provided were covered in bleach stains. Now the condo is in a good location where you could easily walk to the nearby attractions, and the beach access was a 3 minute walk with wash stations to rinse off. I didn't report any of this at the time to the host because what could they realistically do about a crappy mattress and water pressure while we were staying, but honestly if we ever came back to the area we would get a hotel room. THE LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE, TO ACCESS THE CONDO YOU HAVE TO WALK UP FLIGHTS OF CREAKING OLD WOODEN STAIRS, WHICH ARE INCREDIBLY LOUD AND CAN BE HEARD FROM THE BEDROOM AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT!

We are so sorry you didn't have a great experience. Yes, all of our communication during your stay was extremely positive. We wish you would have brought this up sooner. Our cleaning crew is on call and could have at the very least, replaced your towels. We have a washer available so our guests are free to wash them but we would have given a stack of towels if we only knew. The water at the beach is very hard and we just ask people to do things they would do at home but your squeegee comment is heard. We are not a hotel for sure. It sounds like a hotel is the best option for your future stay as we don't have full control of other guests in the building. Nor would a hotel. This is our first comment on noise so we will do our best. We always go far out of our way to create a great experience for our guests. Susan

Communicative host. The condo was cozy for four but nicely decorated and very clean. Easy access to everything in Carolina Beach.

Perfect location. Quick walk to the beach. Everything you need is within walking distance (restaurants, stores, rides/arcade).
