Lovely stay! Marty was so helpful and responsive when we had an emergency situation. Really cannot say enough positive things about her response. Views are Amazing and all the amenities are great. Sand toys, coolers, chairs were a huge hit. Love the walk to everything Ocean Beach has to offer. Only difficult thing is it does get a little warm inside during the day, so just pack accordingly and open windows and get fans going and then it’s totally fine. Beds are updated and so comfortable!We will be back.

This property is in a great location to explore Ocean Beach and surrounding areas. The unit was comfortable for 2 couples with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are more positives than negatives to renting this place. The biggest negative was the loud planes every morning at 6:30. The planes are very cool to watch, but 6:30 is a little early. Great view with plenty of seating on the balcony. Good communication with Marty, the owner.

We had an amazing stay! The views from the back patio are absolutely stunning! We had all of the comforts of home and more. The space was plenty for our family of 4. It is a quick walk to Ocean Beach and the little downtown area where you can shop or eat. We hope to be able to come again!

Marty is the best host you could ask for and the property couldn’t be any better! We never wanted to leave the deck and the ocean views. All the furniture was new and comfy and she had all the beach extras we needed too! Would definitely come back!

Lovely location and apartment. Airplanes from airport very loud during the day. It was difficult to access the stairs to unit due to parked cars and trash cans, had to turn sideways to get through - making it very difficult to get luggage and my husband's oxygen concentrator to the bottom of the stairs.

Perfect little hideaway

I do not often repeat where I go, but if I did, I would definitely stay here again. lovely little place plenty of room and well equipped for your stay. Walking distance to shopping dining beach, etc. and Marty was just awesome full communication about everything that we could need to know

The sofa was very uncomfortable. The beds were too tall to get into. The different levels of flooring made it difficult not to fall down. There were silver fish in the bathrooms. The sliding door needs wd40. The deck surface is very uneven to walk on.

Love Marty and her beach house!

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Marty’s beach house. Marty was wonderful and very communicative. We loved being in Ocean Beach and walking distance to a number of wonderful restaurants. Breakfast pastries from Azucar, taco Tuesday at South Beach Bar & Grill, and ice cream at AN’s Electronics were some of our favorites. But the highlight was the patio where we played cards and enjoyed the evening sunsets. Thank you, Marty!

Lovely spot in a wonderful town

The apartment is excellent for 2-4 persons, clean, well appointed, beautiful location/views and an easy walk to the heart of Ocean Beach which is a wonderful throw back to the time of quaint beach towns.

Enjoyed our month in San Diego

San Diego is a beautiful city - so many places to visit and things to do and see. Marty was a very gracious host - very accommodating and quickly available via phone/text to answer questions. The beach house apartment was very nice. It had everything we needed during our month stay. Unfortunately February was a cool month so we didn't get to enjoy the deck patio as much as we had hoped, but the view and sunsets were beautiful. Ocean Beach, shops and restaurants were a close walk away (.4 mi). The beach is smaller than others in the area. If you like a nice boardwalk, bigger beach, and more activity, than Mission Beach might be better. But OB was nice and Wed's Farmer Market was fun. The Sunset Cliffs were beautiful and there was more privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend visiting San Diego.

Family weekend

My mom, sister and I had a wonderful girls/family weekend here. The porch was amazing and we spent most of our time there. We love the sunset cliffs/ocean beach community. Marty was an amazing host.

Best view ever!

The view was stunning! Condo very clean and kitchen well equipped. Marty was wonderful to work with and made certain I had her contact info for any problems. We are already looking at dates in spring 2025 to return. We will indeed rent this condo again. Highly recommend 😊

Amazing Ocean Front House

Our family loved every minute of our vacation at this amazing beach house! The ocean views from the house and balcony were so amazing, the house was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the communication with the owner was as good as we've ever experienced! We will definitely be returning in the future!!!

I am ambivalent about the place.

The property was nice, clean, and well kept. The view was amazing. What I did not like was that there was no mention of having to go up a steep staircase to get into the place. I was under the impression that it was a house because it was advertised as "Marty's House." Instead it was a second floor apartment. In addition, there was a bar nearby that played loud music. That was annoying. In addition, there was no heat for our entire stay. I also did not like the fact that the stove, range, and heaters were all gas-powered. New research has proven that these types of appliances generate carbon monoxide which is bad for your health. I liked the stay because my guests liked the place very much.
