A spectacular mountain setting awaits at this studio-style condo, beautifully positioned in The Lodge at Tamarron with a view of the mountains and golf course. This is a place for year-round adventure, with gorgeous resort amenities waiting to welcome you home.

This studio sits on the (elevator-serviced) fourth floor of The Lodge at Tamarron. On the scenic grounds, you'll find indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a gym, pickleball and tennis courts, a sauna, a steam room, grilling areas and terraces, restaurants, a playground, and coin-operated laundry. Enjoy a golf simulator, cross-country skiing, and fat tire biking on the property as well.

The condo is open, spacious, and full of sunlight, with a rear wall of picture windows framing the golf course and the mountains beyond. Enjoy a galley kitchenette with all sorts of essentials, including a refrigerator/freezer, a stovetop, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a Keurig (but no oven). There's ample seating for lounging, as well as a wall-mounted breakfast bar where you can dine or set up your laptop.

For entertainment, you'll have a selection of board games, a TV, and a Playstation 3 with Blu-ray capability. Central air-conditioning and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

The condo was in a great location and served our needs well for our four day stay in Durango. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, plates, and utensils. Having access to the pool, workout room, and on-site restaurants was the best!

The unit needs a remote for Direct TV. We had to hook the tv together and then there was no remote for Direct TV.

The hallways smelled very bad like smoke, and the room smelled like heavy air freshener trying to cover up an old smoking smell. I have asthma, and once I realized the condition of the property, I knew I could not safely stay there with my family. Once we arrived the bedding was stripped from the bed and pullout sofa and hidden away in drawers. Bedding was dusty, the small flat pillows on the bed were stained. We had to wash the bedding and make the beds and realized this place was substandard and not going to work for someone like me who has asthma and allergies. I first contacted First Chair Destinations, the company managing the property, and explained that I could not stay there due to my asthma and the condition of the room. I requested a refund so I could book somewhere else for my family.After hours of back and forth with multiple “managers” who apparently had no authority to actually resolve the issue, I was told they would only refund the cleaning fee. They basically held our money paid as leverage to keep us from booking an alternative because they refused to honor my request for a refund of our full stay.That is unacceptable. If a room smells like smoke, appears poorly cleaned, and is not safe for someone with asthma, a cleaning fee refund does not solve the problem. I would not recommend staying here unless you are comfortable with an older property that may not match the online photos.
