Enjoy a comfortable mountain getaway in this classic condo located just north of Hermosa, only a few miles from Durango Hot Springs. With easy access to outdoor recreation, local attractions, and the best of the Durango area, this home provides a convenient base for exploring Southwest Colorado in every season.

Spend a relaxing afternoon at Durango Hot Springs, or venture out to nearby attractions such as the Bar D Chuckwagon and its Old West Cowboy Music Show. The historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is also within easy reach, offering scenic rides through the San Juan National Forest and a memorable way to experience the region's railroad and mining history.

During the warmer months, the surrounding area offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and golfing. Winter brings skiing and snowshoeing, while the condo's inviting living area provides a comfortable place to relax after a day in the mountains. A TV with streaming capability is available for guests to enjoy using their own accounts.

Everything was great and there is no AC we sleep with the window and doors open at night for the end of July it was OK.

A/C would be nice for summer stays; it was 95 deg when we arrived, so it was really warm when we tried to sleep the first night. First night a neighbor asked me to turn down the TV, which was barely loud enough to here over all the fans running. The next day the neighbor above said our fans were to loud for her to sleep, and asked if I would mind turning them down, I said if it cooled down enough I would, she looked at me as if I was being rude! Then asked if I had extra fans on besides the ceiling fans, I told her, every fan I could find in the house.

Howdy Hermosa

A spacious & nicely decorated condo, about 20 minutes north of Durango. Unfortunately, during our stay there was heavy construction directly in front of our unit, with scaffolding & ladders blocking the parking garage and our balcony. Not the owner's fault.

The only frustrating thing was the unit number wasn't very easy to figure out. It would be much more helpful if that information was provided much more directly. We had to sift through a bunch of emails and just happened to come across the unit number in one of them, and it was a bit frustrating as we really didn't know if we were going to be able to find it. Other than that we absolutely loved the condo and cannot wait to return and stay again! Great unit, clean and comfortable, awesome location 15 mins to Durango to the south, 15 mins to Purgatory to the north.
