Experience the ultimate Vail mountain getaway in this lovely ski-in/ski-out condo in the heart of Lionshead Village, located in the sought-after East Building of Lion Square Lodge and directly across from the Eagle Bahn Gondola at the base of Vail Mountain. From this second-floor residence, step out to your private balcony for great views of the ski run, with steps leading right down to the ski yard, offering true ski-in/ski-out access just moments from the lift. This comfortable two-bedroom home sleeps up to six and is a great fit for families.

Inside, the master bedroom features a king-size bed and colonial-era art, and the second bedroom offers two queen-size beds, providing comfortable, real-bed sleeping for the whole group. The living area is anchored by a large gas fireplace and comfortable furnishings, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes, with a flatscreen TV with streaming for cozy nights in. Air conditioning keeps the home comfortable in every season. The fully equipped kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances, white granite countertops, a farmhouse sink, premium cookware, and seating for up to four. Complimentary high-speed WiFi is included throughout.

As guests of Lion Square Lodge, you'll enjoy access to exceptional slopeside amenities: a year-round heated outdoor pool with changing rooms, outdoor hot tubs, a sauna, fitness center, slopeside ski valet, concierge services, a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping, free on-site parking, on-site card-operated laundry, and a complimentary shuttle to Vail Village. Amazing: Hesitant to write this great review....

...Because it is literally the best place to stay in all of Vail, and once this gets out, it will be so hard to re-book! I dare you to find a better location. The condo is decorated perfectly and the owners clearly go out of their way to make it feel warm and comfortable. The appliances are top tier. This is not a "bare bones" vacation rental, but rather, a well kept high end home likely belonging to some very classy people. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Major issues fixed after day one

We arrived on Day 1 with some major issues. It took a day to get it fixed but the staff did fix it. The room we were moved to was perfect. The place is clean and well cared for, the view is beyond beautiful. Our only issue was the over "Tide" smell of the linens. It was very strong.

Location cannot be beat

I loved that this was a true ski in and ski out. Many rentals advertise themselves as ski in and ski out when they really are not. With 4 children, I can’t do buildings that require a trek down the hall and a ski/boot valet. I much appreciated the convenience of being able to keep our skis on the balcony and boots just inside the door. The only inconvenience of this unit is there is no washer and dryer. There is a washer and dryer in the complex, but you have to walk outside to get to it. We had a wonderful time overall, and hope to be back.

Cozy ski and ski out convenience

The apartment is in the east building on the second floor, which faces the slopes. It is very nicely appointed with comfortable furniture. The room is cozy with a beautiful view of the mountains and of the village and base of the mountain. Literally walk out the back door onto the slopes and back in. There is parking available. Showers and bathroom had wonderful good running hot water and high pressure shower. Very very comfortable for our family of four, but certainly could accommodate one or two more adults or children. The hotel had an outdoor pool and an outdoor heated Jacuzzi. There was a restaurant that was convenient for dinner. There is a ski rental shop in the east building. There is a ski valet to hold skis overnight outside. Couldn’t ask for any more convenience and comfort.

Great stay!

The home has clearly been renovated. It is gorgeous and comfortable. The beds and pillows are exceptional for a rental. The location is perfect for summer and winter activities. We enjoy being able to walk Lionshead and Vail Village. Our kids love the green space in back of the complex. The pool is large and there are two hot tubs. Plenty of seating and you can’t beat the view. We would definitely rent this unit again.

It was amazing.

Online listing doesn’t do it Justice. It was amazing. We will be staying here again. So relaxing and peaceful. Even with a 5 and 8 year old they were content.

Perfect

This is a lovely updated home with every amenity you could want (although we brought our own keurig). The condo is beautiful with several sitting areas and lots of room. The people above us were heavy footed but that happens. The access to the Gondola side and restaurants were just steps away. We loved having our own hallway from the elevator - only sharing it with one other condo. No foot traffic or noise outside our door. Housekeeping was great - checked on us every day. The front desk is open 24/7 which made us feel really good. Wonderful stay for much needed rest and relaxation. Vail is our 2nd home.

Wonderful vacation

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in unit E209. We had stayed in a separate unit in the same part of Lion Square Lodge previously but choose this on for this visit because of a nicer master bath and furnishings. The proximity to the slopes and Lionshead features can’t be beat. Wholeheartedly has our recommendation.

The condo was gorgeous! Very clean, beautifully decorated, and amazing location.

The pictures online is what sold us in booking the condo in the first place, but seeing it in person was even better! Beautifully decorated in restoration hardware, we did not want to leave! Amazing views, great location, clean, and tons of space to spread out! Would book again and again!
