This neighborhood offers something that is increasingly rare: direct Hudson River views combined with a residential setting. I chose it because of the incredible sunrises, the changing river scenery throughout the seasons, and the feeling of being close to nature while still being minutes from restaurants, colleges, wineries, hiking trails, and local attractions.
One of my favorite things is sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee while watching rowing teams launch from the Marist Boathouse across the river and seeing the lights of the Walkway Over the Hudson and Mid-Hudson Bridge in the evening. It is a place that feels both relaxing and connected to the best of the Hudson Valley.
