Perched at the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Canyon Ridge Retreats is a completely remodeled A-frame cabin unlike anything else in eastern Kentucky. You're adjacent to Cave Run Lake — walleye and muskie capital of the South — and just 20–30 minutes from Red River Gorge, one of the most spectacular natural areas east of the Mississippi. This is not a generic rental. This is a destination. The Cabin 900 square feet, fully remodeled in 2023. Two queen bedrooms upstairs each with their own TV, a queen Murphy bed in the living room, and a sleeper sofa — comfortably sleeping 8 guests. One full bathroom, one half bath. New stainless appliances, fully equipped kitchen, 65" smart TV, and fiber optic WiFi throughout. What Makes It Different The outdoor movie theater on the screened-in back porch is something guests talk about long after they leave — a full projection screen and projector, zero mosquitoes, surrounded by forest. The private fire pit with valley views is where every night ends. Dual screened porches with ceiling fans and horsehead porch swings round out an outdoor experience you won't find anywhere else in this market. Cave Run Lake — Right Outside Your Door Longbow Marina is 5 minutes away. Clay Lick Boat Ramp is 5–7 minutes. Bring your boat, kayaks, or fishing gear — multiple public ramps provide free lake access. Trophy walleye, muskie, bass, and crappie year-round. Twin Knobs Beach for swimming. Bald eagles on the water every winter.
