We had a wonderful stay at this sweet cottage by the pond! It was cozy and clean, with every amenity we needed provided. And it was the perfect location! Right around the corner from our favorite Coast Guard Beach. We will definitely be back!

Cottage was laid out as advertised but kitchen was filled with ants daily and flying bugs were in the bathroom. Spiders all over the house. Spent mornings and evening killing and cleaning up bugs. The host gave no resolution to the issue just apologized repeatedly. Bathroom was very small but usable.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad you found the cottage to be as advertised. I do want to clarify that the description of the insects does not reflect the condition of the cottage or the experience of the vast majority of our guests. The property is professionally treated for pests on a regular basis, and while an occasional ant, spider, or flying insect can appear—as is common in a wooded coastal environment—it’s certainly not typical to encounter the number described in this review. When you contacted me, I responded promptly, apologized for the inconvenience, and offered the best explanation I could based on the property’s location. We continue to take preventive measures to keep the cottage clean, comfortable, and well maintained for every guest. Thank you again for your stay, and I wish you all the best.
