The Space:

Gorgeously situated only 50 feet from the sandy beach in Kapa'a, this recently remodeled oceanfront condo at Pono Kai Resort offers the quintessential Hawaiian experience. Wake up and fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the surf, and spend your days swimming in the ocean and lounging on golden sand.



Ideally situated within a short drive of Lihue Airport on the ocean shore of Kapa'a, this condo is an easy walk from the town's shops, eateries, and oceanfront path that runs for miles along the coast. On the resort grounds, you'll also have access to a pool, a hot tub, tennis courts, a grilling area, and a gym.



This condo enjoys an oceanfront position on the second floor, allowing you to catch spectacular sunrises over the Pacific Ocean from your private, shaded balcony. The air-conditioned interior features a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining table, and a living room where you can play board games and watch movies in the evenings. Additional features include another TV in the primary bedroom and high-speed WiFi throughout the condo.

Beach view was amazing and the Condo was very clean and had all the things you could need. We went for my Dad's 80th and brought my two grand children, Their first visit to Kauai. It was a great family unit and very close to stores and shopping, beach and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. My only suggestion is more pool/beach towels as they don't dry fast enough and we had to keep going down to the laundry room to dry them. But that was not a huge problem.

This property is located in an area with access to restaurants, shopping, beaches and many other attractions. The location itself offers a beach, hammocks, putting green, pool and a great walking trail. Nearby Hanalei Bay beach was the most picturesque locations we visited on our trip.

Great place. Calling shenanigans on the AC situation. Told it didn’t work and the repairman is coming but the portable AC units have been there for quite sometime. The mini split unit outside is a piece of rust. Should just advertise the there is portable AC units in the place and not that someone is coming to fix it. Being honest is a better policy. Vacasa was very attentive to fixing the internet/TV issue. We’ll sticked place.

Beautiful Location

The location and amenities are amazing. It is located by many restaurants, shops and of course it is right on the beach with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The condominium was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Sadly, there was a musty smell from dust and possible mold so we needed to leave after one night.

Great location overlooking the beach. Good little complex. Nothing fancy, but fun and well run. Condo is old, but everything was clean and worked well. Had beach chairs, umbrellas, and ice chest perfect for daily outings. Family had a great time.

Perfect Paradise

What a magnificent place to stay!! Waking up to the sunrise and ocean right off the balcony each morning what a treat. We were close to Kapa’a shops, food and coffee. The beds were comfy and there were some Beach towels and chairs included. Property includes many activities like grill, hammocks, tennis, pool, ping pong and more Centrally located on the island -would stay here again and again!!
