Explore the marked hiking trails in the surrounding area, which lead you to mountain lakes full of fish and rushing waterfalls. Go on a waterfall hunt and find your favourite waterfall, perhaps even with a refreshing dip in the cool water. The mountain lakes, such as Grytevatn, are ideal for swimming in summer. Other highlights include canoeing, climbing and horseback riding through the unspoilt landscape. For summiteers, the hike to Skogshorn is an absolute must.
