You're staying in Thomas-Dale! My favorite thing about this neighborhood is how much character it packs into a small area. The neighborhood is largely residential and full of people who genuinely love where they live. You'll notice blooming gardens and towering trees, and Craftsman-style homes with real character throughout.

Some local favorites are:
- Cheng Heng for Cambodian food
- Trung Nam Bakery for Vietnamese banh mi and pastries
- Need coffee? Flava is the neighborhood's own cozy little spot
- Little Saigon Supermarket is great for fresh produce, herbs, and spices and other necessity

HmongTown Marketplace is another must — over 100 vendors selling everything from produce and spices to clothing and handmade goods, it's a great way to spend an hour browsing.

If you're around in summer, try to catch the Little Mekong Night Market — it's a fun street festival with food vendors, live music, and even a K-pop dance-off.

Downtown St.Paul is under 2 miles away, so you're close to it all while still getting that real, local neighborhood feel.
