Local Owner operated and managed. Mountain Haven Properties LLC/Lake Lure Liz and Kyle Fister.
We are centrally located to many activities such as pontoon boat rentals, zip-lining, kayaking, canoeing, snow tubing, snow skiing, horseback riding, white water rafting, Lake Lure boat tours and dinner cruises, numerous golf courses, putt- putt, fishing, fly fishing, spectacular hiking trails, mountain bike trails, Lake/River side dining, Biltmore House and Asheville, numerous local wineries and breweries, Tryon Equestrian Center with daily horse events with dining and weekly summer festivals and concert, and much more! There are activities for every season!

Large 3 story log home minutes from Lake Lure Beach/ marina and town. with big game room and hot tub. Privately situated. 3 story log home with bedrooms and full bathrooms on each of the 3 levels with lower level and upper-level decks and HOT TUB. Upper-level deck is fully enclosed with seating, log picnic table and grill. Main floor has large Master King bedroom with full bath. upstairs has loft area with another living room area with queen futon sleeper and 2nd Queen Master bedroom with full bath. Downstairs has a large game room area, laundry room, sleeping area with two sets of log bunk beds- open to lower deck with seating area including log swing and chairs. Main floor is surrounded by large wrap around deck which is fully enclosed with seating and grill.
Pontoon Boat on Lake Lure available for rental.
We are new to ABB. We have hundreds of great reviews for our Lurewoods Manor Cabin on vrbo booking site.
We are centrally located to many activities such as pontoon boats rentals, zip-lining, kayaking, canoeing, snow tubing, snow skiing, horseback riding, white water rafting, numerous golf courses, putt- putt, fishing, Tryon Equestrian Center with daily horse events and restaurants with weekly festivals, spectacular hiking trails, mountain bike trails, Lake/River side dining, Biltmore House and Asheville, numerous local wineries and breweries and much more! The cabin was lovely and felt secluded, which we enjoyed. The main area of the deck was a great space that got good sunlight, we did wish there was more/better outdoor seating options. Overall the cabin was great, but I do think the Ad for the house needs to be updated to include some of the local damage.

The location is excellent. Secluded but convenient to shops, dining and activities in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Lots of great hiking everywhere! The decor in the cabin is perfect. The kids loved the game room and hot tub, and the wrap around deck was great! Easy and quick communication with the owner.

The cabin was well maintained . Temps dropped during the week and heat was not a problem. Hot tub was able to keep good temps even in the evening. Lake access is not a benefit at this point . Hopefully lake will return to it's past glory. All in all a great stay.

The driveway was horrible! It was almost a reason not to rent it. The house was clean and sufficient. It was a disappointment considering that there was no view of lake or mountains. We would not stay there again

Great Cabin for Families!

We had a wonderful stay! We loved how cozy the cabin was but there was plenty of room for everyone to have privacy and enjoy some downtime. We particularly loved the downstairs game room and had a great time playing as a family! We would absolutely book this property again!

Peaceful cabin weekend

A nice cabin

Cabin is beautiful. The driveway is very difficult to navigate but overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry you had an issue with the driveway. It is a wide, not steep driveway. It is a sharp turn into the driveway but if you have an issue with a sharp turn, you can loop around at the end of the road and enter from the other side, and it is not a sharp turn. Relaxing warm private retreat

The property was everything in the description and just what we wanted to experience. The town of Chimney Rock was minutes away yet we were surrounded by nature.

Nice location and cabin

Good location and pretty cabin. There's a hidden cleaning fee (the place was quite dirty when we got there anyway) and the internet is non existent.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. The housekeeping fee is not hidden. It is in the listing and all correspondence including the rental agreement you signed. We do it this way so the guest is not charged an additional percentage when booking thru Vrbo. Upon arrival you let me know you were thrilled with the cabin which is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each guest. When you were charged the housekeeping fee that you did not leave , and additional fee for extra garbage left you then wrote the above review stating the cabin was quite dirty.

Great mountain property on the lake

This property was absolutely beautiful. It's located just 300 feet from a beautiful lake. Chimney rock is just a 5 min drive from the cabin . I will definitely stay in this area again !

What a beautiful gem!

We came to the Lake Lure for the weekend getaway. This place offers a plenty of privacy, hot tub to relax at the end of a day, cozy and stylish interior, freshest air of the woods. It’s minutes away from Lake Lure kayaking and swimming.

Beautiful getaway with great amenities

This was the perfect cabin for our weekend getaway. Our party of four had plenty of room for sleeping and ample bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped to cook and serve our meals and the charcoal BBQ was a great bonus. Everything was clean and the furniture was comfortable. It was very conveniently located near shopping and dining options. Would 100% stay again!!

Wonderfully Secluded

This house is nestled in the woods with a private feeling. Bring ear plugs if you sleep downstairs, because the old floors creek. There are lots of beds and a small table for eating. Over all it's a great deal. Owner was very good at responding to questions. The porch area is magnificent and there is a good picnic table outside in a covered area.

9 cousins got together for a much needed get together. The home was exceptional. Very clean and had everything we needed. Minutes away from restaurants. Loved it.

Very Enjoyable Time

We had a great time staying in this home and enjoyed every floor in the home. The house was very lovely. The only thing we didn't like was the driveway which has been mentioned several times in reviews.

Hi am glad you enjoyed the cabin. There is a sharp turn into the driveway. You can pass the driveway and turn around at end of road and enter from otherwise if the sharp turn bother you. The driveway is not steep. We are in the mountains so we do have some differences! Thanks again

Nice stay

You should tell people that the driveway is a little tricky, really don't have any internet, and take down the picture of the lakeview it's misleading.

Thanks for the review. As you can see in another review, the driveway has a sharp turn if coming in on one side. It is not steep, just a sharp turn. Anyone not comfortable with a sharp turn can pass the driveway up and turn around in the big open road area and enter from the other side with no sharp turn. We have ATT internet and private access to oart of Lake Lure less than a half block from the cabin. We are also a 5 minute drive to Lake Lure Beach. Thanks again.
