Heart Of Downtown, 3 Bedrooms, Hot Tub, Has It All!

This turn of the century home started out as a dairy farm way back in the day but has been beautifully updated and offers all the modern conveniences! If you look closely though, you’ll see some glimpses of its past, and there’s plenty of the charm and character that you’d expect to find in an old home. (Make sure the kids bring some marbles so they can find the slanted floors to have races!)

The location is fantastic- only a 10-minute walk to the Colorado College campus, and also within walking distance to the downtown area with many spectacular restaurants, shops and an active night scene! There are views of Pike’s Peak from the front porch, and just an all-around tranquil atmosphere.

This home is one of 3 units that this large building has been divided into- and it’s the biggest of them! You know those houses that look tiny from the street, but when you walk inside, you’re shocked by how big it really is? Well, this is one of them! With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this will be a great landing spot for your family adventures (whether it’s your real family or your chosen family)!

As you open the front door you’ll walk into the living room with enough seating for 6 to unwind in front of the TV that’s equipped with Roku to stream all of your favorite shows. From the living room, you’ll pass a coat closet for storage before you enter the large formal dining area (also with seating for 6) and a really cool, giant built in china cabinet. You’ll find the main bathroom on the left of the dining room (this is a full bathroom with a tub and shower that everyone can share).

When you leave the dining room, you’ll enter the spacious kitchen with a smaller dining table with seating for 4 that will be convenient for breakfast or sitting and chopping veggies for dinner together. I prefer home cooked meals over restaurants any day- so this kitchen is stocked to be used… with cookware, bakeware, a blender, spices…. (and anything else I’d want to be able to use- the pantry isn’t storing food). You just need to choose if you’d prefer to cook or to pop into the MANY excellent dining options that you have available nearby.

From the kitchen, you’ll find the master bedroom on the left with its own bathroom and a King-sized bed equipped with a comfy memory foam mattress, and clean linens- we’ll have all of the beds ready for you to crawl into after a long day of travel. On the other side of the kitchen is the 2nd bedroom with a Queen-sized memory foam bed that is just as comfy as what’s in the master and has plenty of storage in the walk-in cedar walled closet. When you exit the kitchen, you’ll find the laundry room to the right, and the 3rd bedroom on the left with a Full-sized memory foam bed (this is where you should stick the loudest snorer!) Two things make a great vacation- great food and great sleep! I do my best to set you up for success!

From the laundry room you’ll find the large backyard that is private to this unit and is fenced for your 4-legged family members. You’ll also find a propane grill, a patio area with seating for 4, and the large, clean HOT TUB!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- This home offers keyless entry, Wi-Fi, Central A/C and laundry facilities
- There is a motion sensing light and security camera that is located on the back of the house that is on and operational, but we’ve been careful to point it away from the hot tub to respect your privacy. This video footage is not shared, is recorded for liability and security reasons and in no way infringes upon your expectations of privacy at this property.
-I’ll provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like soap, toilet paper, coffee supplies, etc.
- PETS: Up to 2 dogs are welcome to stay at this home for an additional fee of $49 a week (per pet). Please note that while the backyard area is fully fenced, damage happens- it is up to you to inspect the fencing to make sure that your pet isn’t able to get out. No other types of pets are allowed without prior approval. All animals must be disclosed and approved before checking in. We ask that you clean up any waste your pet leaves and dispose of it- additional cleaning fees will apply if you leave it behind.
- No smoking or vaping (of any kind) is allowed indoors
- There is Central AC throughout the home
