Hi! I’m Ashley, a local to the Rome area and your host at Old Floyd Farmhouse. My family and I love the simple things—good food, time outdoors, exploring the Adirondacks, and making our home a place where people feel comfortable and welcome.

I love hosting because it gives me the chance to share a little piece of our area with others. Whether you're here for a quiet getaway, visiting family, exploring Upstate New York, or just looking for somewhere to slow down for a few days, I want the farmhouse to feel like a home away from home.

Old Floyd Farmhouse is tucked away in a peaceful country setting just outside of Rome, surrounded by open fields, mature trees, farmland, and the sounds of nature. It feels wonderfully secluded while still being close enough to town for restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.

One of our favorite things about the neighborhood is the slower pace. Mornings are quiet, evenings are perfect for sitting on the deck or gathering around the fire pit, and the creek running along the property adds to the peaceful atmosphere.

We're also in a great spot for exploring Upstate New York—from Delta Lake and local parks to day trips into the Adirondacks. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a little country quiet without feeling too far away from everything.
