In the house: central heating system. Steep, narrow motor access. In Winter: please take snow chains, 4x4 car recommended in winter. Parking at the house. Grocery 2 km, supermarket 2 km, shopping centre 2 km, restaurant 2 km, bicycle rental 2 km, 25 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Gaggi Säge" 400 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 2 km, outdoor swimming pool 3.5 km, indoor swimming pool 2.1 km. Golf course (9 hole) 4.8 km, tennis 4 km, minigolf 2.3 km, sports centre 2.1 km, walking paths from the house 30 m, gondola lift 2.6 km, ski rental 2 km, ski bus stop 300 m, ski school 1.4 km, children's ski school 1.4 km, ice rink 2.1 km, children's playground 2.1 km. Stay here!!

Wonderful place! You can’t beat the view. Wake up to hear the cow & sheep bells. Clean, comfortable, & newly remodeled bathrooms. Would recommend having a rental car to stay here as it’s up the hill a little. Bus stop close by but still would require a little walk.

This was the most beautiful location I have ever been to. The two bedrooms (including the master) and the living open up to a balcony with the most incredible view. So pretty it looks fake. The house itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped. I hope to come back here one day!

Picture postcard views

We stayed Christmas 24 when there was 3 days of heavy snow. As chalet has a steep drive and stepper approach road, ensure you have winter tyres and chains. Could only improve house in 3 areas, a microwave, hoover to clean up, better range of kitchen utensils e.g. working mixer, not broken blender, range of sauce pan sizes, and a large metal sieve. But wonderful house, warm, and comfy. Neighbours are lovely.

- Check-in experience was terrible. The click-through from Expedia->Vrbo->Interhome is very confusing and it makes it easy to miss important info. - You need to pick up the key from another address and this info is buried into check-in workflow which primarily focuses on extra charges. A simple masterlock could improve the checkin experience significantly because the only function of the office is the key-pickup. (they also give you wifi info but this is posted in the property already). - Some properties use such a third party service but it has to be super smooth. In our case, stopping by another address is lüke a torture because the property is 30 minutes away from the service and there is a shortage in taxi service. Taxi services frequently told it would take at least 1 hour to dispatch one. - Calling interhome was useless. The host couldn’t be reached at all and we are left helpless. - The view from the property is great but it isn’t worth the hustle. - I traveled 23 different countries, and this might be one of the worst experience that I have ever had. - Interior was kinda old but this was OK. - Amenities can be better: e.g. more tea mugs, washer, etc.

Nicht zu empfehlen

In der Beschreibung stand allgemein, das Parkplatz vorhanden ist. Aber nicht, dass es nur einen Parkplatz gibt. Die Wohnung ist für 6 Personen, da 6 Personen nicht in einen normalen PKW passen sind wir mit 2 PKW angereist. Am ersten Abend wurden wir von Anwohner unsanft weg gejagt und mussten schauen, wo wir das Auto abstellen konnten. Natürlich gegen Gebühr. Es gibt zwar 3 Schlafzimmer aber nur insgesamt einen Kleiderschrank. Das Besteck ist für 6 Personen abgezählt. Einfahrt nicht geräumt.

Danke für Ihr Feedback. In der Beschreibung ist angegeben, dass ein Parkplatz zur Unterkunft gehört; ein zweiter Stellplatz ist vor Ort leider nicht möglich. Weitere Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es nur öffentlich und gebührenpflichtig. Ausstattung wie Schrankplatz und Besteck entspricht der angegebenen Einrichtung. Die Einfahrt wird normalerweise geräumt, wetterbedingt kann es jedoch kurzfristig zu Einschränkungen kommen. Bei Problemen vor Ort helfen Schlüsselhalter oder – falls nicht erreichbar – unsere 24‑h‑Hotline jederzeit gerne weiter.

Zweckmäßig mit herrlicher Aussicht

Die Wohnung ist schön und ruhig gelegen, die Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Eiger-Nordwand ist herrlich. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung zweckmäßig eingerichtet, wobei das Interieur etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist (ausgenommen die Bäder, diese sind saniert).

ruime chalet op een prachtige locatie

de chalet is heel mooi gelegen, biedt een prachtig uitzicht over deevallei en heeft ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Het interieur en de keuken zijn wel aan vernieuwing toe, alsook het keukengerief (oa pannen, potten enz). De meubels in de living zijn sterk verouderd (kasten, tafel enz) De bedden zijn ok alsook de badkamer is vernieuwd.

uf Duft

Die Aussicht vom Uf Duft ist herrlich. Die Wohnung ist sehr basic, was defect war wurde repariert, Interhome war sehr hilfreich, das Haus ist im rauchfreien Bereich, aber die Leute unter uns haben ihren Rauch fröhlich in unsere Zimmer aufsteigen lassen. Ansonst haben wir Grindelwald sehr genossen.
