Our group of 4 adults had a fantastic stay 2 weeks ago. The chalet was the perfect amount of room for us. We loved the location both near a bus stop and am easy 10 minute walk to the Grindelwald train station and the village center just beyond it. It was also very quiet. We would love to stay here again on any future visits to Grindelwald.

Beautiful chalet with spectacular views

Lovely chalet. Very peaceful with breathtaking views. Close to town and access to Grindelwald First and Jungfraujoc. The owner was very easy to work with providing detailed and timely information including information about the area. Would recommend without hesitation.

Perfect stay in Grindelwald

The home was spacious, clean and the perfect home base for our trip to the Jungfrau region. Great location with a nice balcony with views. Would definitely come back to stay again!

Comfortable Chalet with a stunning view

The flat is located within short walking distance to the center and station. It is situated in a courtyard away from the crowds andstreet and thus very quite. From the balcony you have a breathtaking view to the mountains. Interior decoration, furniture and kitchen is a bit 90ies IKEA-style but in good shape.

Nice property

Unit is very clean, well-equipped. Excellent communication with owner. You are a 5-10 minute walk from the train station & COOP grocery. If you are new to Switzerland, be sure to pay attention to the recycling and trash protocols.

Beautiful apartment with stunning views!

We loved our stay at Chalet Kiwi! The apartment is beautiful, clean and spacious with an amazing view! Piotr was an excellent host, providing detailed notes which made everything easy to find without any problems. The location is great... only a 5 minute walk to the train station, grocery store and village. Our vacation in Switzerland was fantastic and we hope to return again soon. We highly recommend Chalet Kiwi!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung über 2 Etagen. In Grindelwald sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig gelegen.

Wonderful!

We stayed four nights at this property in summer 2019. Piotr, the owner, gave excelllent service. Check-in instructions were clear and the property was exactly as depicted. Very clean and the location was ideal. Grindelwald is a very hilly so the close proximity to the twin center, the grocery store and the train is a real plus. We hope to return and stay in this property again!

Kiwi stay for Summer Hiking in Grindelwald

Kiwi lodging is just as advertised and is very clean. View of the Eiger from your personal balcony. Perfect location for up to four people. Within convenient walking distance to the heart of Grindelwald and the entire Berner Oberland Bahn transportation locations. We will visit again during hiking season. The owner, Piotr, has been a pleasure to work with and he is expeditious with his communication.

The Kiwi Chalet in Grindelwald was fantastic!

The Chalet was beautiful with very comfortable furnishings, a fabulous view of the Eiger and only 5 minutes walk from the train station, perfect as we did not have a car. Piotr was always prompt with his replies and even emailed us during our stay to make sure we had everything that we needed. We received an activity card upon check-in which gave us free bus service in Grindelwald and discounted entry to the pool and other activities at the Sports Center. We highly recommend this lovely Chalet and hope to return soon. Thank you Piotr!

Very clean, spacious, well located

Piotr was very helpful to us, as we had a question about the washer and he was very responsive. His place was immaculate and very spacious for our family of four. The back porch looked right at yhe mountain, which was stunning. The walk to town was short. I highly recommend.

Eine tolle Ferienregion, egal ob im Sommer oder Winter

Die Wohnung liegt einfach toll - zentral aber doch ruhig. Das grandiose Bergpanorama hat man immer vor Augen. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und Griwarent ist unproblematisch und sehr freundlich. Der Vermieter selber unterstützt jederzeit und ist sehr hilfsbereit.

Beautiful chalet in excellent condition

This is a lovely chalet set in a very convenient location in Grindelwald. Very easy access to train station, bus station, supermarket and tourist information centre. Stunning view of the Eiger out the living room and twin bedroom window. The chalet was spotless. There were also dishwasher tablets and the correct bin bags left for us which was very helpful as Grindelwald has a strict policy on waste disposal. It was very warm when we visited. We would return to this property.

An excellent perfectly situated property

This was a really nice chalet with all the facilities that one would want. It was clean, spacious, well provided for, and it was within easy walking distance of the village centre. The railway station was less than 10 minutes walk away and there was a COOP supermarket within easy walking distance. There is also secure parking associated with the property.Everything was well organised beforehand and Piotr dealt with all enquiries promptly and efficiently. We spent a really nice week there, and were we to return to Grindlewald we would have no hesitation in renting this property again. Last but not least, the property has a superb view of the mountains.

Eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung im Herzen von Grindelwald

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet, alles erforderliche war vorhanden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Küche für uns Selbstversorger super ausgestattet. Den Skitag haben wir jeden Abend gemütlich am Kamin ausklingen lassen. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung war einfach nur klasse, fast mitten im Ort und nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof entfernt. Der Ausblick von der Ferienwohnung war grandios - ein traumhafter Blick auf den Eiger und auf das Skigebiet. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war trotz der großen Entfernung jederzeit und umfassend möglich. Das Vermietungsbüro (Griwarent) war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gesamtergebnis: eine hervorragende Ferienwohnung. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Mit Fewo hat alles sehr gut geklappt! Nur vom Besitzer kamen zuviele E-Mails mit meistens den gleichen Inhalten. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist sehr zentral! Ich kann die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Tolles Apartment, gute Lage zum Bahnhof, super Aussicht, komfortable Ausrüstung und Einrichtung

Wir haben das Apartement sauber und aufgeräumt vorgefunden, es ist insgesamt sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Alles in allem entspricht es der Beschreibung im Internet. Der Preis ist sicherlich eher hoch (!?), die Lage aber wegen des kurzen Weges zum Bahnhof und dem Dorfzentrum sehr praktisch. Es gibt 2 Toiletten. Die Küche ist so, dass man praktisch alles kochen kann. Ärgerlich ist nur, dass für die Kaffeemaschine ausschließlich spezielle Tabs verwendet werden können, die man erst im GriWaRent office erwerben muss (zu einem Preis von 50 Rappen pro Tab). Ein COOP ist etwa 5-10 Gehminuten entfernt, dort bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind super nett und unkompliziert (sie leben in Amerika). Wir können das Apartement bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Mit der Firma GriWaRent waren ebenfalls zufrieden.

Great apartment in Grindelwald

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It is in a great location minutes from the centre of town but in a very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious and well laid out with an excellent kitchen and a comfortable living room area.The two upstairs bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds.The property is obviously well maintained and was spotlessly clean when we arrived.I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to other travellers and would certainly stay there again myself.
