Elegant Cosy Hideaway (The Clarence)

Extremely private hut set within 15 acres of wilderness to relax in the remotest part of Kent with direct access into the beautiful valley.

Most guests visit us to shut the world out. However, we are also spoilt for things to do locally and have some terrific pubs/ restaurants.
The Clarence is beautifully situated along a private path through a meadow field that winds its was down into a secluded bank with beautiful valley views. A place where you really sense shutting the world out. Guests will enjoy the space to themselves. We do not recommend our hut to anybody who may be pregnant or who is not very mobile as it is 500M from the car to the hut.

The kitchen facilities include an induction hob, air fryer, kettle, toaster, fridge (with small freezer compartment), and cookware.

A DVD player is provided with a large choice of films to choose from to enjoy in front of the cosy fire on the cooler nights. I'm afraid this is not a TV as we do not get internet/ coverage at the hut. Games are also provided.

We are an EXTREMLEY remote, rural area and it becomes very dark at night. We live in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty and having lit walkways in the field is not something that we are permitted to ensure minimal impact on the night sky and surrounding area (perfect for watching the uninterrupted stars in the night sky) . We ask guests to take extra care especially in the winter when we are prone to muddy conditions. WELLIES ARE A MUST in wetter months. Please also acknowledge that the hut is in a wilderness and in the height of summer, the ferns and grass are high.
