It truly is a cozy cottage in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The host was attentive. The gardens/yard were beautiful! The pool was refreshing. The cottage was comfy and had everything you might need. The local wine and olive oil were amazing! Such a great trip!

The villa was beautiful, well equipped with everything we could need. Bruno was an amazing host. Beautiful arrival package of home made olive oil, wine and biscuits.Villa w as very clean. AC is a must in the summer months. Pool was perfect with the most amazing views.For complete relaxation this is the place. Bins were emptied each morning by the host way before we were awake, pool was also cleaned.This so nothing to do with Bruno or the Villa but would recommend mosquito repellent as there are alot of them in this area.Would recommend the villa and will definitely be returning

The villa had everything we needed, free coffee, loads of towels, tea towels, kitchen/cleaning and various anti mosquito products, a balcony to look at the stunning views and an under cover drying clothes area outside with handy fridge. The stairs down to the pool offer more amazing views and the pool area itself is absolutely stunning. The pool was well maintained by Brunello during our stay and again had everything we needed, sun shade, chairs and four sun loungers. We had an amazing stay as a family of four with two teenagers and would definitely recommend to others.

Great stay in lovely Tuscany

We had a fantastic stay in Brunello’s idyllic house in the heart of Tuscany. Great location within reasonable driving distance to several Tuscan attractions – we visited, among others, San Gimignano, Siena, and Lucca. The house itself offers a stunning view over the classic Tuscan landscape with olive trees and vineyards – a must-see. We enjoyed daily swims in the private pool that comes with the house – perfect for the whole family. Brunello and Alessandro were wonderful hosts and generously arranged for us to have their own wine, olive oil, and biscotti upon arrival. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back!

Relaxing stay in San Gimignano

Clean and functional residential stay on the hills overseeing the beautiful landscape. The house has all functionalities we needed. Beds were ok and there were much needed airconditioning during that held temperatures around 35 C. The pool is big and has nice sunbeds around it, it sits two stairways down in the garden. The grill worked well and enjoyed the barbecue having our meal looking at the sunsets. The nearest supermarkets was in the Poggibonsi village a 10 min drive away, and held all necessities.

8 nights in wine paradise

The setting for this property was magical. The house, located on a hill overlooking valleys with small family farms, met all our needs during our 8 night stay. We enjoyed breakfasts in the dining area and used the property as a base as we explored Tuscany, Pisa, Lucca and Florence. This was the perfect place for us. The views from the master bedroom and the pool area, including sunsets, were like nothing I have seen in my life. We could not believe we were staying in such a wonderful place. The washing machine was used several times as we prepared to move on to the next leg of our journey. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable, and did I mention the views? Beautiful!

We hat a good time in a very nice, clean and well prepared house. We appreciated the silence and the well eintausend garden with the pool. The tenant was generous. We can recommend the location.

Traumurlaub

Die Unterkunft und der dazugehörige Garten und Pool sind wunderbar gepflegt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.Herr Brunello war täglich unterwegs, um Den Pool zu säubern , die Mülleimer zu leeren etc. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat an Geschirr, Besteck, Tellern und Töpfen mehr als genug. Das kleine Duschbad ist sehr saube, wie eigentlich alles . Der Garten und Pool einfach ein Traum . Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit dem Auto 10 Minuten entfernt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Auto prima erreichbar. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und uns in dem Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung !!!

Great, relaxing holiday destination

14 days of use of this beautiful location. The photos shown are as reality is. Every day it was breathtaking to look out over the Tuscan landscapes from the balcony. As for the service at both check-in and check-out as well as during the stay, this is done neatly! Very friendly people! We will definitely continue to recommend this accommodation to acquaintances and friends and who knows, we may return ourselves! Small point of attention. The location (the road you have to drive into) is not shown on the navigation system, so you quickly drive past it. Perhaps a good idea to pay extra attention to this with regard to the route description.

Achtung: Klimaanlage kostet extra!!

Das Negative zuerst: Die Klimaanlage kostet extra. Dies und weitere Extrakosten stehen leider nicht in der Objektbeschreibung sondern in der Hausordnung. Auf dem Voucher, den wir 5 Monate nach der Buchung erhalten haben, waren diese Kosten dann auch vermerkt. Dies hätten wir allerdings gerne VOR der Buchung gewusst- ein Hinweis bei der Ausstattung des Hauses wäre dringend erforderlich. Immerhin kostet die Klimaanlage 100 EUR pro Woche zusätzlich. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön, toller Ausblick, super Pool. rustikales Interieur, sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der morgens den Garten, Pool und Grill reinigt. Nur die Betten sind wirklich unbequem.

Fantastische Aussicht

Wunderschöne, einsam gelegene Villa mit fantastischer Aussicht. Das Haus und der Garten mitsamt privatem Pool sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Dies spiegelt sich in der Hingabe wider, mit der sich Brunello jeden Morgen unauffällig um alles kümmert. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Herrlicher Urlaub in traumhafter Unterkunft

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Villa Brunello. Wir können uns den übrigen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und alles hat bestens geklappt. Der Checkin verlief problemlos, Poolpflege und Müllentsorgung wurde alles für uns erledigt. Der Wäschewechsel nach einer Woche klappte ebenfalls bestens und die Übergabe bei Abfahrt ebenfalls. Internet und WLAN waren ok und es gab keine Probleme. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Paradies!

Das ruhig gelegene Häuschen ist top gepflegt und super sauber. Genauso der wunderschöne Garten und private Pool; beides wird vom netten Besitzer Herrn Herrn Brunello frühmorgens liebevoll gepflegt. Wenn man aufsteht ist er schon wieder weg und man hat seine Privatsphäre. Bei schlechtem Wetter hätten wir allerdings gerne ab und zu mal den TV genutzt, leider gab es aber keine deutschsprachigen Sender. Das ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Auch der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Absolut zu empfehlen, wir kommen wieder!

A visit to Ulignano

We loved the location, very well positioned for day trips to San Gimignano, Certaldo, Lucca, Pisa, Florence. Although we were there in November, we still had sun and fair temperatures. We didn’t anticipate needing to pay extra for the heat, which we needed on the colder days. The grounds, pool, and views were really wonderful. The bathroom shower and all the floors could greatly benefit from a good washing, though, as well as the bedding. Kitchen was fine for cooking small meals here and there. We enjoyed using the indoor fireplace on colder evenings. We would recommend this villa for a couple or maybe a family with1 or 2 small children.

Sehr schön

Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Das Haus, der Pool und die Lage mit Blick in die Weinberge ist traumhaft. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist auch ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Besichtigung von San Gimignano, Siena und Florenz.

Casa Brunello

We loved our week in Brunello's cottage in the beautiful Tuscan countryside about 11 km north of San Gimignano. The cottage is well equipped and has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and dining area, and a terrace which is perfect for catching the afternoon and evening sun with something nice to drink. The garden and pool area is much more extensive than is obvious from the Vrbo listing, and is well provided with sun loungers, chairs, tables and sun shades. Our hosts Brunello and Beatrice were lovely people, helpful and a delight to deal with. Ulignano is the nearest village, and there is a small grocery shop there, but we found that the best supermarket is the Co-op in Certaldo about 15 minutes drive to the north which has everything that you need. The old town in Certaldo accessed by a funicular railcar didn't appear in our guide book but is lovely and well worth a visit. San Gimignano, Siena and Volterra are within easy reach by car. Overall, highly recommended.
