Outside, your private dock (accommodating boats up to 22 feet), two decks, and a patio set the scene for unforgettable days and nights with family and friends. Swim, boat, dine outdoors, or unwind sitting watching the sunsets over the lake.



Inside, the main level features a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a bright, spacious dining and living area—perfect for group gatherings. We loved the house bright and open. It was right on the water with great views and easy water access. There was a floating dock that my kids loved swimming to and calm waters for paddle boarding. Would definitely stay again.

The lock code was clunky and wouldn’t let us change it. The uneven floors were a tripping hazards and there was a fire pit when I booked it, but then the details saidthat there was no fires allowed however, when we got there, we did see that there was a solo stove, so why can’t we use the fire pit? The view was gorgeous and the decks were very nice. Keep in mind lots of stairs down to the house after you pull in the driveway. Overall we had a great time!

My friends and I have been looking for the perfect place to hold a Girls’ Week for over 25 years, and we think we’ve finally found it in this rental. There were many wonderful things about it, but what most stood out were 1) it’s literally steps from beautiful, quiet Alton Bay and less than 15 minutes to grocery stores, restaurants, etc., 2) three of the four bedrooms have balconies overlooking the water, 3) the kitchen is stocked nearly as well as our own, with multiple SHARP knives, plenty of decent pots and pans, and lots of common spices available for use, and it has comfortable, attractive furnishings. The only downsides were 1) guests aren’t allowed to use the fire pit and fireplaces and 2) the owners were transitioning management companies, so it was a little more difficult to access information about the rental (though the new management company responded quickly to requests for information). Overall, this rental is an outstanding value, and we’ve already booked for next year! :)

Lovely stay with family visiting from New Zealand. Highlights fire pit, views, loons comfortable beds easy access to towns with variety of food types for eating out. Only ambiguity was in amenities lthat said washer dryer but in brackets says private. !?Overall good value for money 8 people peaceful and met expectations.

Fabulous house and view

Great property and perfect for family stay. We used it as a base for ski races at Gunstock, only 10 minutes away. Fantastic waterfront property and views are outstanding. We would definitely come back.

What a gem! Fabulous location. The house was lovely with lots of cozy sitting areas inside and out on the patio. Please note: there are many stairs down to the house which presented a challenge for some in our group. That said, we all agreed it was well worth the effort! Would love to stay again next year.

Amazing stay

Beautiful, comfortable home on the lake w perfect amenities. It is even more stunning than the photos depict. Perfect location - great biking, kayaking, and hiked Mt Major which is close by. The guys caught huge small mouth bass too!

Great lake house

I have stayed at a lot of lake houses, and this one was one of the best. We had views of the sunrise and sunset it was a great location. The house was furnished with everything we needed. Highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Lakeside Retreat

We spent 4 days at this beautiful home on the lake. The house was immaculate and quietly situated in a cove. We swam, kayaked and read on the deck. This would be perfect for a large family vacation and we’ll be back with our kids for sure.
