We enjoyed every second at this home. We had a great time in the pool. The views was so beautiful! There’s a park less than 3 minutes from the home. Hopefully the home is available the next time we come that way.

Wedding weekend

Traveled to Arizona for our friends wedding. Great location and host was very helpful and responsive. The biggest trouble we had was with the internet service. Unfortunately it kept dropping so we had to find a coffee shop to work remotely from. Otherwise very nice.

Amazing Property. We stayed 53 nights. Our home away from home. Lynn was the best host. Had a few questions that were promptly answered. Shared with 2 couples for 10 days,then our Son and family stayed a few days. Weather allowed us to use the pool for a few days and grandkids had a blast. Beautiful views and very private. Highly recommend!!

Magnificat

To watch the nightfall turn into day and vice versa over the Estrella Mountains which the property affords an unobstructed view of from the back of the property is simply awe inspiring, I had the opportunity to drive around Goodyear this past trip, and I do not believe that there is a short term rental ANYWHERE in Goodyear that offers the seclusion, the mountain view, and the serenity that Lynn's home affords and if there is, you will pay considerably more for those amenities. Family vacation

We went down to Goodyear for a birthday party that we held at the property. The house and grounds are very nice. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking items. The listing says the one bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king but the bed was only two twin beds smashed together. Also, the master bed pillow top is VERY soft!

Nice Property

Comfortable home with plenty of room. Master bedroom is huge with a comfortable bed. Clean, well stocked kitchen. Weather was to cool to use pool, but hot tub was nice.

Magnificent view

House was spotless. Host lightning quick responding to a concern. Not in a typical residential subdivision in Goodyear where homes are close to one another. Extremely quiet. One can swim or hot tub and have a view of the Estrella Mountains. Highly recommend.

Sunny weather vacation

Very good over all! The house is beautiful, we love all the decorations in every single room, neighborhood very very quiet, beds very comfortable, pool and jacuzzi clean! We love it, the house had everything we need to stay 10 days without missing anything! From Portland Oregon! Thank you Estrella team!

The house met our needs for the NASCAR Race we attended.

Excellent place to stay

Great place to stay. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything you would need for making a meal, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. Very nice master suite. The balcony was delightful. Exceptional neighborhood and location. Great hiking right from the backyard. The pool was clean and well maintained. The fire pit, patio table, and sun screen were wonderful. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy.

Mountain Location

Very nice moutain view location. Lots of room for a family. Beautiful outdoor area - we loved the pool. The neighborhood feels safe and the community amenities are very nice and well maintained. Excellent communication with the owner. Thank you.

Desert Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. Small hiccup with property manager but owner took care of very quickly. Home was very comfortable throughout. Views were spectacular. Much needed relaxation achieved.

Great start to our recent retirement

We loved this place. It was exactly what we were hoping for and home was very homey. The location was perfect for our agenda. We corresponded with Lynn several times prior to arrival and she was very responsive and helpful. We had ZERO issues. From the comfortable beds to the decor, we loved it. P. Something I totally appreciated was that we did not have to buy the “basics “. For our two weeks, we did not run out of anything. Detergent, toilet paper. Paper towels, etc.. The outdoor space was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature . Thanks for sharing your home. We look forward to future visits.

Great location but ...

The location of the house is fantastic. Close to a lake and a great walking path. The house backs to a mountain offering spectacular views. The backyard/pool & hot tub offer a tranquil setting. The house however is in need of some updating. The pictures and reviews previously posted are accurate. The house is very outdated, which some may call "authentic southwest" decor. I would refer to it as "in need of some upkeep and remodeling", especially the kitchen. The house smells old and of mildew. We were greeted by a kitchen leak under the sink, with a fan blowing to dry out the bottom of the cabinet. There were several minor issues in the house during our stay ie. a sink not draining, water not running in a faucet, and the dishwasher not working properly just to name a few. All these issues were communicated to the owner. Lynn was very prompt to respond and her handyman arrived prior to our departure so I could show him all of the issues we encountered. Most of the issues we encountered could / should have been discovered before our arrival. The kitchen is the biggest area in need of an update. Overall, while the house does have a comfortable master bed (other bedrooms not so much) and the price point reasonable, I would not stay here again unless the house was updated.

Active and peaceful

We have stayed here a few times before and enjoy golfing and hiking. We golfed at the Estrella golf club which we recommend highly. We also hiked the local jaunts as well as Dutchman state park (Massacre Falls trail) also highly recommended. At the end of the day this property was awesome to kick back have a drink and relax. We did not have time to use the pool facility but our last night we noticed steam coming off the hot tub and decided to soak our weary bones. We will definitely be back.

What A Very Beautiful Home - ❤❤❤

Absolutely everything about this home was perfect. The art on the walls, the large kitchen, the backyard... it was an amazing authentic Arizona experience. Getting the spa turned on was a little complicated, but the host was so kind as to send out pool people to turn it on and show us how it worked. They were great as well! This is an upscale neighborhood... beautiful views when you climb the mountain.. those Arizona sunsets just can't be beat. The most comfortable pillows. I want those for my house now. My only suggestion would be a little more comfortable and cushy outdoor seating. When you enjoy a firepit, you want to snuggle in and stay a while. But otherwise, absolutely nothing could be improved on. Perfection.

Absolutely Loved!

Enjoyed everything about our stay! We chose this property due to its close distance to the Phoenix Raceway. It was very easy to drive back and forth each day for the NASCAR Championship Race. We made it a vacation and stayed 8 nights. Once the race was done we explored the area and found it to be the perfect location to do so. The house itself was cozy and majestic! We ate many meals there and found everything I needed. Some reviews say the home is dated but we didn’t think that was the case. We loved the Southwestern Decor! The outside of the home was wonderful! We loved the covered dining area with large grill and firepit. While the pool was too cold we enjoyed the spa/hot tub several times. The weather had just turned cooler so that’s why the pool was too cold for us. The views were even better than shown on the listing! I took several photos but don’t see a way to upload them here. We hope to go back next year for the Nascar race and we will for sure stay here!!

AZ getaway

This is a lovely quiet home in the Phoenix suburbs. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool even though it was unheated as are many this time of year. Unfortunately for us there was a mechanical problem with the spa and we were unable to use it. (Problem has been corrected). The king bed in the primary suite was cozy and comfortable. We loved sitting on the covered patio for meals and drinks. The fire pit was so nice! Host Lynn was very responsive to our inquiries. We would stay there again.

Estrella stay

We enjoyed everything about our stay. We were 3 couples all friends and wished all the bedrooms connected to a bathroom. That was a oversight on our part. It was very hot so the pool was even hot. We will try another time of the year to come!

Super great communication on a couple things that came up. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Beautiful older home/inside was a little dated but didn’t change how we felt about being there. Had everything we needed. Nice private area.

Hello, my name is Lynn. I am the former owner of a very successful Commercial Real Estate Company in New Jersey which I recently sold. I have over 25 years of Commercial Real Estate experience and over 200 million dollars in personal sales. My expertise was in listing, contract negotiations, marketing and property development. I was all about business, however, I wanted to do something more creative and fun.

Back in 1998 while traveling from Kauai I had a conversation with a woman who was in the high end home vacation rental business. She had homes all over the world and this intrigued me. I started to research information and bought my first property in Goodyear, Az., Estrella Mountain Ranch; it is a custom home with a pool and spa with great views and privacy! I went on and purchased Poipu Villa Vista in Kauai, Hawaii with ocean, golf course, mountain and crater views and an international vacation home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, with a rooftop deck and views of the entire city. Our latest purchase was in Lake Como, New Jersey it is a seaside community just a half block from the lake and eight blocks from the ocean.
Owning vacation properties gives me a chance to be creative in renovating and decorating these custom homes to correspond with thier locations. Our goal is to have the stay for our guests become a special and unique experience and create memories for them that they will cherish forever. We live in a stressful world and each property has a calming effect that our guests love. They let us know we have achieved this by their comments!

Estrella Mountain Ranch is a very unique community located in a gorgeous setting in the Estrella Mountains with two lakes, golf course, star gazing monument and much more. The house is custom and in a very private setting. You are surrounded by desert scenery including saguro cactus and moutains and lake views. Yet the house is near downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, Sedona and even just a 2.5 hour drive to Sedona and Palm Springs!

The sunsets and views from our home are AMAZING! The evening star gazing is incredible! Our guests enjoy a large covered patio that backs up to the pool and spa with seamless indoor outdoor activity. You may see a bobcat, quail, a cottontail and other desert wildlife. Our spa and pool are surrounded by estrella mountain reserve for ultimate privacy! PLease don't be fooled by so called vacation homes that are tract homes with no privacy or views at all! Just added a new outdoor gas firepit for those cooler evenings!
