Despite paying a mandatory cleaning fee, we arrived to find cleanliness issues including a visibly stained couch with lint buildup. When reported immediately, we received an automated response promising follow-up that never came.The property had several limitations that impacted our stay. One shower had minimal hot water pressure for lukewarm showers. The other shower required holding the shower head as there was no functional mount. The staircase handrail was not structurally attached to the wall, making it unsafe to rely upon.Even with the mandatory cleaning fee, the rental terms required us to perform extensive cleaning before departure, including dishes, emptying appliances, cleaning the oven and grill, and general tidying. The property provided no basic amenities like toilet paper, soap, or towels; items we had to purchase ourselves.The property charges separately for electricity consumption. Lights in a locked shed were left on that we couldn't access, meaning we may be charged for electricity we couldn't control.On the positive side, the property had plentiful bedrooms with spacious rooms for our group, and we enjoyed the included darts setup. The listing was accurate about fees and requirements.Future guests should budget for purchasing all household necessities and understand that the cleaning fee does not include actual cleaning service between guests; you'll still need to thoroughly clean before departure.
