We offer vacations at Spreewald’s Waldsee with our newly built vacation rentals. The 60 m² apartment is modernly furnished and features a living room with a cozy atmosphere, including an upholstered seating area and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The Schiela Vacation Apartment

also includes one—or, upon request, two—bedrooms; the separate kitchen is fully equipped; and the bathroom has a shower. Adjacent to the apartment is a spacious covered terrace; the 1,500 m² wooded property features a barbecue area, a trampoline, a swing, a ping-pong table, a boat, and parking directly at the house. The final section of the path

is a 1 km forest trail. The swimming beach is just 100 meters away; on the opposite shore, there is also a beach with a snack kiosk. Fishing is permitted, and boats are allowed on the lake; a hiking trail runs along the shores.

Lake Briesensee is surrounded by extensive pine forests. It is the only lake located directly at the entrance to the Spreewald, one of Europe’s unique natural and cultural landscapes. Exciting boat tours can be taken from the neighboring village of Alt Zauche or from the Spreewald town of Lübben, eight kilometers away. For active guests, there is an extensive network of hiking and biking trails. The county seat of Lübben—located in the heart of the Spreewald—offers a wealth of tourist attractions and excellent shopping opportunities.
