Modern apartment block "Goldenhorn", built in 2003. Below Zentrum Wengen, in the district of Am Acher, in a quiet position on a slope. In the house: central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop 300 m, supermarket 250 m, restaurant 60 m, bar, bakery 300 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.3 km, railway station "Wengen" 300 m, outdoor swimming pool 600 m. Cable car, mountain railway, skisport facilities 300 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen - 14 minutes travel time.
"Goldenhorn Apt.S", 3-room apartment 70 m2 on 2nd floor. Spacious and bright, comfortable and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove and cable TV. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 190 cm), 1 double bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Balcony, south facing position. Balcony furniture. Marvellous view of the mountains and Jungfrau. Facilities: hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only.

We loved the town of Wengen, the house was perfect for our family of 5 and was close enough to town but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

This property is well located and has a fantastic view from the balcony and living area. The property is modern, well maintained and very clean. Beds are super comfy! The kitchen has all the necessary amenities and there were plenty of dishes and silverware. The location is super quiet making for a great night’s rest. The COOP market is nearby so it is easy to pick up food to take back to the apartment. Keep in mind that although everything is close by, you do need to walk uphill for just a little ways (couple of minutes…however, most rentals are like this). It was a great stay and I would definitely rent this place again.
