Appartement Alpina Wengen

Zeer mooi chalet en gunstig gelegen ten opzichte van het centrum van Wengen. Wel een kleine klim als je van het chalet naar het centrum of het station wilt. Goede informatie ontvangen van Interhome in Wengen. Het chalet zelf was zeer ruim en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. 2 ruime slaapkamers met mooie badkamer. Ruime woonkamer en mooie keuken. Ook een klein minpuntje: soms zijn de buren (boven of zijkant te horen) maar verder niet storend.

After spending the week in Wengen and seeing all the towns in the area. We felt like Wengen was the best place for our family of four to stay. And this condo was in a great location in town.

Lovely place to base out of

We thoroughly enjoyed having this as “home base” as we explore the grandeur of the area. We made nearly all our meals in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed sitting on the porch eating ice cream and one evening even afforded an alpenhorn concert. It was a wonderful stay.

Einschränkung

Mühseliges Hin- und Herprocedere wegen der Frage, wie genau und wohin sich die Post umleiten lasse. Einen Briefkastenschlüssel bekamen wir nicht, sondern mussten (den Briefkasten von Hand anschreiben und) uns die Post ins ungesicherte Zeitungsfach legen lassen. Das hat dann allerdings funktioniert.

Large and clean with decent view and huge kitchen, but slow internet

We loved the apartment. It was large and clean with a decent view and a huge kitchen for cooking (although no microwave). The location is good (a 3-4 minute brisk walk up the hill to the train station and grocery store). The shower was very nice with great water pressure. Our only complaints were the slow internet (our limited-data hotspot that we brought with us was much faster) and the Interhome staff was good, but not great. They were very friendly, but the listing was for two showers and only one was working and they did not offer any type of discount or concession in exchange. Also, I emailed them before coming to see if the apartment had a hairdryer because I did not want to lug mine around for our whole multi-country vacation. They told me there was no hairdryer because it was not listed on the website. But in fact, there were two hairdryers in the apartment. I really wish they had actually checked! But all-in-all if fast internet isn't important, I would recommend this place.

This apartment is excellent. Very spacious, clean, well appointed with everything you need. Only 400m from the train station Views from both decks are exceptional. Only minor complaint would be the beds are not the most comfortable.

Un très bel appartement dans un lieu unique !

L'Alpina est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied de la rue proncipale et de la gare. L'appartement est spacieux, meublé sobrement, avec goût et bien conçu. La cuisine est très bien équipée, il manque cependant quelques éléments de base (théière, gants de cuisine notamment). Cela dit, je ne peux que chaleureusement recommander cet appartement !

Un très bel appartement dans un lieu unique

Chalet très bien situé à quelques minutes à pied de la gare et de la rue principale. L'appartement est spacieux, confortable et meublé avec sobriété et élégance. Même s'il manque quelques éléments de base (théière, gants pour saisir les plats chauds), la cuisine est formidablement bien équipée. Une location que je ne peux que recommander vivement !

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der Wohnung. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung und eine gute Küchenausstattung. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, wird sich wegen des gegenüber liegenden stark frequentierten Kinderspielplatzes gestört fühlen.

Beautiful cozy home

Nicely appointed, cozy home. Close to town, near a small park. FYI, No coffee maker, just a pod style espresso maker. Required to clean and remove garbage, bedding etc. or be fined. Would consider another stay there. Unbelievably gorgeous location for hiking & mountain biking.

The first impression is always a lasting one. As I opened the front door, the first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the apartment and it's layout. I knew from that moment on that my stay here would be comfortable - and it was. Extremely happy with my choice and next time I am in Wengen, there is no other place I would go to. Wunderbare Ferienwohnung für eine entspannte Auszeit

Great location, clean, modern - loved it!

This is our second stay at this chalet apartment. We were there about 3 years ago as a couple and this time another couple joined us. It is perfectly clean. There is a partial mountain view blocked by other chalets. It is close to the train station - about 5-7 minute walk, depending on whether you're going uphill (on the way to the station) or downhill. Close to the Coop - the grocery store. Really nicely decorated in a modern style. Beautiful wood floors, ceilings and walls. Lots of windows. The lighting is a bit inadequate at night, but we went to bed early to go hiking the next day. Kitchen is well equipped. Great bathrooms with great showers. Laundry facilities in the basement are great, except if you don't speak German...then you will need help. I wish there were English instructions for all the appliances, but it is their country, not mine :) The staff at InterHome was great, helpful as can be. We requested an iron and extra pillows and they were at our front door in the morning. We were completely happy with the accommodations and hope to go back again. It really doesn't get any better than Wengen.
