Location and Surroundings:
Our vacation rental is located in a quiet and idyllic setting in Burkhardtsdorf, a picturesque village that captivates visitors with its proximity to nature and diverse recreational opportunities. The surrounding area is perfect for long hikes, bike rides, and exploring the impressive landscape of the Ore Mountains. Chemnitz—the 2025 Capital of Culture—is about a 20-minute ride away by public transportation. Dresden, Leipzig, and Oberwiesenthal are all about an hour away.

The town center—with its shopping options—the train station, and various bus stops are all just a few minutes’ walk away.

The “Zur Amsel” vacation rental is tastefully and modernly furnished. It accommodates two adults plus a child. Spanning approximately 50 square meters, it offers a cozy atmosphere that leaves nothing to be desired.

The fully equipped kitchen features modern appliances such as a stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and electric kettle. Here you can cook to your heart’s content and enjoy your meals.

Bedroom:
A cozy bedroom with a comfortable box-spring bed, a 32-inch LED TV, and electric exterior blinds guarantees restful nights. High-quality bedding (available as an option) and ample storage space are, of course, provided.

Bathroom:
A modern bathroom with a shower/tub, toilet, hair dryer, and washing machine ensures your comfort.

Balcony/Terrace:
Enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding nature from your private terrace. Garden furniture is also available for your use.

Special Extras:
A free, reserved parking space is located directly in front of the house. The surrounding area offers numerous recreational opportunities, including hiking trails, biking routes, and—in winter—the Fichtelberg and Keilberg ski resorts. Our vacation rental is ideal for families. A high chair and a crib are available to you free of charge.

During Advent, our vacation rental is, of course, stylishly decorated in the Erzgebirge tradition with candle arches and Christmas decorations. Enjoy this magical atmosphere in your temporary home.
