Lovely stay

Perfect!

This was the best house we’ve ever rented from VRBO. Everything we needed was exactly where you thought it would be and the house was very well appointed. The front porch was a great hangout and the landscaping was beautiful and sheltered the view of you from walkers. The location could not have been better.

ANOTHER PERFECT STAY!!

We have enjoyed so many stays at your wonderful home, we truly feel spoiled rotten. The terrific location of Second Springs is so ideal-right at the middle of town, everyone was able to walk to all ofour evnts. The open kitchen, dining, and living area makes gathering together so easy and effortless.-The house is always spotless, and just a pleasure to be b in. Fnally, with a toddler, we so enjoy the charming yard with water feature —so setene and peaceful. We will look so forward to our next visit! THANK YOU!!

Perfect!!

We have stayed at many properties in Ashland over the past 40 years and this is, by far, the best. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, immaculately clean and with literally everything you need. The kitchen is better equipped than mine at home. The location is perfect. Literally steps away from the theaters, restaurants, shops but totally quiet. As a fabulous bonus, the stunning garden provides a lovely space to unwind even on the hottest days. In addition, if you need more space, there is another delightful connecting one bedroom unit, which we used this time for our son and his partner. Finally, the owner is so responsive and kind. The is truly a jewel in the heart of Ashland!

Clean Property....Right Downtown...BUT!!!

I was aware that there was a chance that the "other side" of the house could be rented. What I was not aware of and was NOWHERE stated that there is a unit ABOVE the "two" units! If you rent please be advised that there are THREE possible renters at a time. I felt for the price I could have found a better unit with more seclusion! Disappointed...........

Excellent location

Exactly as described and looks like the pictures on VRBO. Easy to get in touch with Antea if there were any issues. Perfect location in Ashland. Easy to walk everywhere.

Great Location and Great Stay

This is my second time staying at this location, and I would happily stay again. The place is very centrally located in Ashland (yet still quiet), has high-quality amenities, is very nicely furnished, and has a great back porch to sit in. The back yard has been beautifully landscaped. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had. Visitors should note that the mattress is quite soft, but--despite preferring firm mattresses--my husband and I agreed that our backs were fine in the morning, so it's a good quality soft mattress.

Perfect :)

We stayed two weeks in this beautiful location after we lost our home in the Almeda Fire. It had absolutely everything we needed to make it feel like home. You really cannot find a better location in Ashland. We enjoyed mornings on the porch, walks downtown, and home cooked meals (what a lovely kitchen!). Be warned though - the cork floors are quite slippery. Slippers came in handy!

Wonderful place, stayed long term

It's a beautiful place in downtown Ashland, and myself and my partner enjoyed it. We stayed for a month and it's a great location near downtown Ashland. It's not in the middle of downtown, but the middle of literally 2 blocks away. The house is on an area that is a nice residential neighborhood, bordering the start of downtown. Because of this, it's next to a busy street so you will hear car noises in the morning if the windows are open, but the traffic goes down at night and no problem with the windows closed. It's not bad at all, but just a heads up for those sensitive to car noises. Neighbors upstairs are super friendly, you don't hear them as the house has good soundproofing. The back yard garden is really nice. As for the inside, well you see everything in the pictures. It's a very nice place. It just doesn't look good, it feels good. I highly recommend it!

A lovely and relaxing place to stay

The place was exactly as described--nicely set up inside, with a lovely front porch and back yard that made it ideal in nice weather. It is well-appointed with linens, toiletries, and a well-stocked kitchen, and it is right in the center of town. My only quibble is that I felt the blinds in the bedroom let in too much light--waking me at 5:30 am in the summer. Otherwise it is quite quiet given its central location, although you can hear footsteps in the Oberon house when they are above (but not tv or conversations). There were two small problems with the house, which the owner took care of immediately. Overall, this house was key to having a lovely relaxing stay in Ashland; I would definitely return.

Great location, perfect for two!

We had a wonderful time stay at the Titania property in Ashland. It's very centrally located - one block from the main street and three blocks from the the grocery store co-op. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy, Comfortable, and Close to Downtown

Appreciated all the wonderful touches in this beautiful accommodation so close to downtown Ashland. It was convenient and had easy parking both on the street and dedicated in the back. The home is wonderfully curated and has all the things one needs for a good stay. Hope to return soon! Especially appreciated the kindness and local advice of owner Mr. Rood.

Very comfy but only for 2 people

The third "bed" is a rolling cot. Otherwise the house was amazing, great walking to everything. Last minute booking with a few glitches related to that but the host was very accomodating.

6th Visit as wonderful as1st!

This is our 6th visit to Titania, and it always feels like home!! A warm, cozy house in Winter, it is the absolute best place to stay in Ashland!! We’ll be back this Summer!

Warm and Charming

The cottages have been totally updated and like new. Very comfortable and nicely decorated, extremely clean. Have stayed very close to this property prior and Titania is far more refined and enjoyable than anywhere else we have stayed in Ashland. Highly recommend.

My father and I are avid travelers, athletes and adventurers whose love for the outdoors, design work and the arts has landed us in the beautiful town of Ashland. We are originally from the green mountains of Vermont and have both lived all up and down the west coast and Colorado for 12 years.

My name is Antea Rood. I spent 10 years traveling the world, and have called 6 places home in the west. I live part time in Ashland, and have a blast managing our luxury properties and playing in the outdoors. I spend the rest of my time on the beach of Santa Monica where I have a healing practice.
After spending years traveling, studying interior and exterior design, and the healing arts, I knew that I wanted to create a luxurious eco-friendly place where people could escape the stress of everyday life and renew themselves in a beautiful setting while enjoying the performing arts, outdoor adventures, ongoing classes, galleries, healing retreats, wine tasting and all the other magic the mountains, lakes redwoods and ocean that Southern Oregon and Northern California have to offer.

My father, Dudley Rood, is a designer, builder, artist and incredible athlete who loves the mountains and adventures. After building high end homes all over the east coast and Aspen and Vail Colorado he moved here to be in a place that had it all. Dudley passionately fully renovated this 1908 craftsman home to be luxurious and eco-friendly. His attention to details is shown throughout the property and the love for this project is reflected in the space.

We really went all out with this project and are very excited to provide a historic, luxurious accommodation, loaded with amenities, in the heart of Ashland.

You can either rent one of our 2 apartments for a romantic getaway or a trip with a friend or rent the entire home for the family.
