We had an absolutely wonderful time in this amazing place. This is the second year that we have been here and it did not disappoint. We look forward to being able to book it again next year. Please let us know when they will be booking again for next year!

No linen service, no worries!

First time staying somewhere w/o linen service. Turned out to be a blessing! Love sleeping in. My own sheets! The house was absolutely perfect and the location cannot be beat for the price. Huge value. My wife and I and our 4 year old had one of the best weeks of our lives here. We went to Hawaii last year and this was a better time in a lot of ways. So good! Very special place as a very special time for us. Buddy’s Place for life.

Wonderful stay

We loved the quaintness and cleanliness of the house! It was perfect for our family and the outdoor shower and space was a huge bonus. The beach access was directly across the street and so convenient for little ones. If we needed anything it was a quick walk back to the house. Be prepared to bring all your essentials; toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, propane, etc. We didnt know we were supposed to and either had none or very little available. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the area and neighbors were quiet and friendly. Would stay again!

Fantastic location !

Was so nice to be so close to the beach! Nice little place and had all we needed. Was too hot to hang out outside until the sun went down but really enjoyed the porches and tiki bar. Could walk to the Black Pelican and short drive to many other restaurants and shopping. Beach was so close!

Great Vacation Spot

House is nicely decorated. Front porch is nice for early morning coffee. Sadly not much of an ocean view due to the dunes being so high but I understand why they have been so built up. Look the tiki bar area for eating and evening fun. Great beach access. Host answers questions quickly. You'll love this house!

Cozy Cottage

While this was not the largest cottage we have rented it was definitely the coziest and we truly enjoyed the location, steps from the beach. We enjoyed all of the outside areas which included the front porch, the back deck and the downstairs bar and yard area. The house is decorated in a beach vibe that just feels warm and inviting! Will definitely rent again!

Great house for my family to stay to get some beach time. Walking to and from the beach was a breeze. Close to restaurants. Just the right sizes house for us. We will be back!

Perfect beach house

Our family loved staying at Buddy’s Place and cannot wait to go back! When arriving, the home was immaculately clean, and everything is as pictured! The beach access with steps is directly across the street and made it so easy for our family of four to come and go to the beach as needed! We have a 6 year old and 9 month old so we made lots of trips back and forth for naps etc! We spent every sunrise and sunset on the front porch swing! The kitchen had everything you needed and the home was well stocked with all your essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing things) I Highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the beach!

Perfect for family of 4

Buddy’s place is the place to stay in Kitty Hawk. Location is everything, this was our first visit to the OBX and I am glad we found this place! The house is cozy and comfortable, the beds all have pillow tops. The couches are comfortable to sit and relax on. The kitchen has all the amenities you need to cook just like at home. Even a crockpot! I had no problem preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Buddy’s place. Plenty of conveniences offered by Buddy include as pictured the hose, outdoor shower and the bar height chairs on the front porch. The lifeguard chair was my spot every day, awesome find Buddy! The house is conveniently located next to Lindbergh ave. The only street that doesn’t get a lot of traffic so you can enjoy a cool bike ride, run, walk in the morning. A good 4 mile round trip bike ride in the morning was perfect. The beach is directly across the street, there were other families nearby that used the same access and finding a good front row spot to the ocean was no problem at all. We used a ocean Atlantic rental for the bikes, umbrella and chairs. They delivered upon arrival and picked up the day we left. Less we needed to pack for our trek. The backyard bar area lighted up good for evening cocktails. Plenty of seating for us all. This was the perfect place for our first trip. Thank you!

Great OBX Beach House

Buddy’s Place was a great beach house for our family vacation this year. It is the perfect size for a family of 5 or 6, and provided us with all of the comforts and convenience of home. Being so close to the beach with the access directly across the road was very nice - not having to carry all of our beach gear very far was awesome! We’ll definitely try to stay here again the next time we visit OBX!

True hidden gem!!!

This is a small piece of heaven. Not one of the big houses that have taken over OBX. Amazing location! Literally walk across the street to private beach access!!! Hosts were amazing, and answered every question I had! And trust me.... I had plenty!!! Even called me to make sure everything was okay on check in!!! Felt amazing to deal with a person instead of a big realtor company!!

The ground floor and 2nd floor layouts were spacious and nicely furnished and decorated. Parking was ample and beach access right across the road was very convenient. The only negative was having to provide our own bed sheets

Wonderful OBX Getaway

Buddy's Place was the perfect spot for our family of 5 to get away and enjoy our first trip to the OBX. We really enjoyed the property as well as the close proximity to the beach. The outdoor shower and bathroom made it nice to clean up after a day in the sand as well as easy access to a bathroom when needed. The front porch elevation is just enough to be able to enjoy coffee on the porch by looking out over the ocean. This area seem to be a good central location to enjoy both the northern and southern parts of OBX. We would definitely rent with Buddy again!

The perfect spot!!!

Buddy’s place is a gem! Right on the beach, a private access so we had plenty of room on the beach. Great location, it’s calm traffic wise but you’re still close to everything! The house it self is so cute, not tiny and crowded at all!! Beautiful outside bathroom with outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. The best backyard/bar/grilling area!! We will be coming back to buddy’s place!
