Mauna Lani splender

Location is perfect! View right from the middle of the pond. Quick walk either way to the Mauna Lani resort or to the pool/beach. Everything was clean with new linens and towels. Really loved the convenience this condo offered. The owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was exceptional! We will be repeat customers!

Great location and complex

This was our first time staying in the Mauna Lani area, we’ve visited many times but never stayed. There are many facilities available, coffee shop, supermarket, restaurants etc, plus great views of sunset, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and Haleakala on Maui. A beautiful place to stay in Hawaii!

Great condo in great complex

Very nice place in Mauna Lani Terraces. The owner was super responsive and helpful. The place was well stocked with all that we could need (from coffee makers to beach equipment and towels). It was super comfortable and homey. We appreciated the break in price as well. We'd absolutely stay there again.

Mike's place was just perfect for the two of us. It was incredibly quiet with a beautiful view, and so close to the beach and Mauna Lani. We used the bikes and loved sitting on the lanai. We only swam in the ocean, but the pool looked really nice, and Mike has so many beach supplies for people to use.

Fantastic Terraces stay

We've stayed in many units at Mauna Lani Terraces over the last few years, and this unit was a fantastic spot for a couple. The E building is well-situated -- far enough from the hotel to preserve a feeling of quiet and privacy, yet close enough to the ocean to make it easy to slip out for a swim at any time of day. Michael's unit was furnished with everything that we needed, and his communication was excellent throughout. We'd gladly stay here again on our next trip to the Big Island!

We loved our stay. Best location…walked to Mauna Lani hotel for drinks every night and the kids ran wild oh my gosh absolutely it really is like so magic I forgot like I went in the water a minute ago and I was like oh my God I forgot it’s like it literally feels like a bathtub today like amazing you don’t know oh my God that is so cute that you tried on her and that was Olivia has a really big head too. Olivia’s head was like the helmet you know the helmet was growing did you? Did you know a lot of people in common?

Wonderful condo

Don't hesitate to book this condo, it's magnificent. The views, the lanai, the furnishings, all the thoughtful touches. It feels luxurious but friendly. Mike is great at communicating. The location is superb, allowing for 5 star snorkeling without a drive or paying for a boat. Couldn't ask for more.

Property not as described

Property was dirty in bathrooms and kitchenCockroach problem. We set traps and caught them.Owner confrontational and not responsive to issues.

Condo was cleaned well same day guest arrived and I have the invoice to prove it. Guest never responded to owner for five days after owner messaged her upon arrival and the next day. Furthermore, guest said the condo was clean! I asked the guest via phone were there any issues when she arrived and she said there were no issues. She told me that she heard a roach in the wall after I asked for video and pictures validating her ridiculous claim. Guest asked to be moved to another property thinking I was the property manager. Guest said she was ill for the first four days and that’s the reason she didn’t reply to me. Guest remained in condo for over a week and wanted all her money back. In fourteen years of owning, I have never had a poor guest experience.

We really enjoyed staying in this condo and hope to be back someday! The location is 10 out of 10. Just a 5-minute walk or so to the lovely snorkeling and swimming beach. You'll need to drive to Foodland as it's a good 15-minute walk in the heat! Driving takes about 5 minutes.The condo was very clean and well stocked. And the views were spectacular. Michael was very easy to communicate with. For example, we asked for a kettle and he had one delivered to us, the towel rail was coming out, and he had it fixed straight away. We highly recommend Halani for its fantastic food. The pool was so nice to relax in after spending the morning snorkeling and swimming! They have super comfortable lounge chairs under parasols and the views of the sea and surrounding gardens were fabulous. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. I think the condo complex was built with very thick walls. I'm not surprised that Michael has so many return guests. It's a great place to stay!

Beautiful Condo and View! Perfect Stay.

Mike and Lorie’s condo (E202), the Terrace complex and the Mauna Lani Resort are all simply wonderful. The condo was beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. The appliances, dishes and utensils in the kitchen were plentiful and of a high quality. Everything you need for a fun vacation can be found in the condo… snorkel gear, coolers, chairs, beach towels, etc. On top of all of this, Mike, is very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed if you rent this lovely condo. I wish I was back there right now!

Fantastic Condo!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this condo. It was spotlessly clean, open, bright, and very spacious—perfect for our 5-night stay following a resort visit in the south. The space felt like a true home away from home.You never really know how good a host is until something goes wrong, and in this case, the host went above and beyond. When we arrived, we discovered that the A/C wasn’t working. It was around 4pm on a Friday, but the host responded immediately, called us personally, and had an A/C technician out within the hour. While the issue couldn’t be fully resolved until a part arrived (understandably, given the challenges of island logistics), the host kept us updated constantly and had the A/C repaired first thing Monday morning. He was also more than fair in making it right for us.Beyond that, the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed for the beach, which made our days easy and fun. We spent our time relaxing on the beach just steps away, exploring the beautiful grounds, and enjoying local cuisine in the evenings.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for place to stay.

Stunning view, 5 minute walk to ocean sand beach access for snorkeling. Quiet.

Perfect for our family. Updated kitchen with new appliances. We purchased food before arriving, never left the resort. Wonderful view from the balconies, private balcony for the master bedroom. Felt like floating above the water, right on the large fish pond, excellent view of the ocean. We ate all of our meals on the balcony, friendly birds begging for crumbs, fun to feed. Catfish in the pond happy for scraps. Never used the AC, just turned on the ceiling fans and opened the doors and closed the screens. Just need to make sure the screens are closed or the birds will come into the house looking for crumbs. Our vacation is all about swimming in the ocean. Wonderful access and terrific fish and eels to see on the coral reefs. Also has an orange bouy off the beach and bait fish gather, drawing blue fin Trivolie and small sharks - fun to watch. The beach is great access for timid swimmers and children, but great access for advanced swimmers to go out to the reefs. Will be back!

Best condo in Mauna Lani.

My family of four loved staying in this condo. King bed and sofa bed were comfy. We ate in the Lanai everyday. The view is amazing and so quiet. Communication with Mike is great, wonderful host!

Excellent condo in great location

The condo is beautifully remodeled and has everything we need for the stay, including fresh tasting filtered water! The view from the condo is wonderful. A group of birds hanging around the tree right in front of the balcony provides constant entertainment. There is breeze all the time and it feels very comfortable without turning on AC. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view of Mauna Lani, overlooking fish filled pond, and out to the ocean. Condo includes all amenities including beach chairs and beach towels. Walking distance to private beaches and next door to Auberge resort. Market, shops, restaurants very close. Great unit!

Phenomenal

We loved every minute of our way too short stay in Mike’s beautiful condo. The view is magical and the condo has everything you could possibly need - including quality snorkel gear. The resort is lovely and there is so much to see and do - we could easily have spent a few more days here. Mike was super helpful and responsive - an absolutely fabulous host - mahalo Mike! And thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise!

Mauna Lani Terrace E202

A lovely condominium with view over the lagoon toward the ocean. It has generous sized living, dining room and master bedroom and bath plus a second bath and fully modern kitchen with ample kitchenware. It has three lanai facing the lagoon. It is very tastefully furnished with plenty of gear to make the stay more enjoyable and has two TVs and Wifi (though we are not TV watchers). The owner was prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had. There is air conditioning throughout but during our visit we found the breezes and ceiling fans kept us very comfortable. We had stayed a number of times at the nearby Mauna Lani hotel and love the snorkeling at the beach club (5-10 min walk) and the paths along the beach and around the fish ponds are delightful for walking. The snorkeling is generally excellent except on a few days when waves stir up the sediment. The hotel was purchased by new owners, which renovated it in a way that made the ambiance less desirable for us and then they doubled the prices. Thus it was so great that we could find this terrific place to stay in the same area. Highly recommended

Cute condo, perfect location, nice amenities, beautiful view, great price.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at this condo. The owners go above and beyond to make sure their guests feel at home and informed about all the amenities inside the condo and the surrounding area. The location has convenient access to beaches, groceries, restaurants (many within walking distance) and short drives for day excursions to other towns. We made great use of their beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers, ice packs, snorkle fins, bicycles, and the many beach towels they made available to us. Our favorite part was the huge lanai with the gorgeous view of the pond, palm trees, and the ocean. It is spacious, quiet and private. My favorite time to sit on the lanai was early morning with a cup of coffee, enjoying the view and the cool breeze, listening to the sounds of the ocean waves and the birds singing. Beautiful Getaway

This property was even better than advertised! It was very nicely furnished, very clean and the view from the lani was incredible. The host was super responsive to any questions we asked. We highly recommend this property!

We loved watching the views from the unit's two lanais -- the fish pond, palms, beach, and Mount Haleakala in the distance. A wonderful sand beach was a short walk away. The pool also had fantastic views. The condo was excellently equipped and comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mauna Lani Terrace, room E202. The condo was spotless and comfortable. We LOVED it. We were thrilled to find snorkeling gear, beach towels, lovely kitchen, full laundry in the unit, wifi, big TVs and a comfy bed. We were so pleased with our decision to stay there. The view of the fish ponds and sunset was good and we had a great time. The only comments we have otherwise is 1) a property map would be helpful. Even with GPS in the car, we found it a little heard to find the 'right' beach and we didn't know if we should walk over the manicured grass or if there was a path. And 2) we were quiet and out of the condo on adventures for most of the days during our visit. But the two times we were on the deck (one time at 8am on a phone call and one time at 9pm having a glass of wine and just talking....) we were shushed by neighbors. We immediately went inside but if we had wanted to sit outside for dinner and drinks with friends, it could have been problematic. We are bo
