Located in Chianciano Terme, Tuscany, Country House Podere I Prati is a 350 sqm villa that welcomes up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. This typical old Sienese farmhouse features a private well-equipped kitchen, WiFi, TV, washer, dryer, grill, dedicated workspace, balcony, baby bed, and highchair. You will find spacious rooms with terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams, and large fireplaces creating a welcoming atmosphere with warm colors and old solid furniture.



Step outside to your private garden and outdoor pool overlooking the entire Val d'Orcia valley with wheat fields, olive groves, clay hills, and woodland leading to Mount Amiata, Tuscany's highest mountain. The pool area includes an outdoor shower and a reed covered porch with a small fridge, offering an ideal place to linger at sunset. A shared billiard table provides additional entertainment.



Parking is available both at the property and on the street. Pets are welcome during your stay, but events are not allowed on the property.



This former farmhouse of La Foce estate, once owned by Antonio and Iris Origo, author of "War in Val D'Orcia" and "Images and Shadows," was renovated in 2007 respecting eco principles with sustainability and environmentally friendly materials as priorities. The property uses energy mostly generated by solar cells and collects rainwater to irrigate the garden. You will enjoy bright rooms with great views of the surrounding landscape near the medieval towns of Montepulciano, Pienza, and Sarteano.
