Good house, Poor host company.We were happy with the house and all we needed was provided. The lounge/dining room was especially pleasant. The house is well situated being a 15 minute walk to the Port with its many restaurants, the boulangerie and the supermarket as well as to the coast round the peninsular. Sadly the uncared for state of the garden was not a good first impression coming to the property. The grass and hedge had been cut, but overgrown shubs in the front garden made parking difficult and an intruding hedge and overgrown shrubs made use of parking inside the back gate impossible. Generally the shrubs need cutting back very significantly. The large grass area is extremely uneven and bumpy. Communication with the host company, Novasol, was stressful. There was initial confusion over the first payment to secure the property for us. As usual I paid this on time to VRBO, however I later received a message from Novasol saying my money hadn't been paid and that I was out of time. I had not been notified that the first instalment should be paid to Novasol, nor had I been given their necessary account details. Novasol sent me a form to request bedding and towels which I completed and returned. Later I was informed that no bedding or towels were provided at this property and we needed to take our own, which added to our luggage. Some of the answers Novasol gave me to questions I asked them were set answers and didn't answer my questions.
